I had it when I first heard Peter Cullen's voice!

Nice that he did Prime's voice it was a big part of the film!

Question: Why didn't Frank Welker do Megatron's voice??? They both did it for the Video game for the movie?

On two occasions. When Blackout first transformed, (I Know we'd seen a decent amount of it in the trailers, but it was nice not having that reverse-strobe effect to break up the visual) and when the Autobots started showing up.

I don't think his voice would've fit in with Megs' appearance. He sounds a bit "old" in the games IMO

Hugo Weaving sounds better than Frank Welker if he would've have played Megs voice the the movie.

When the title first came onto the screen after Optimus Prime's narration. -TRANSFORMERS- "but we were already too late"

Autobot's descent to earth was brilliant.

Unfortunately, not really. I think that's probably the biggest thing that let me down about the movie. It was fun, I enjoyed it, but it just never really grabbed me.

Oh well, there's always the sequel. And before that, the extended Blu-Ray / HD-DVD version.

A couple of reasons were given over time.

    1. Weaving sounds way better than Welker, I agree.

    2. They wanted someone who would be able to do Megs in future films.

    I got it several times:

    Peter Cullen's voice

Hearing the classic Transformation shound when Blackout transformed

    The Bumblebee/ Barricade chase

    Bumblebee Transforming

The Autobots coming to earth/ Indroduction scene (I got teary eyed every time I saw the movie during that part)

Probably several other times as well, but those are the main ones.

I did for a lot of the film, but the guy next to me, whenever prime spoke, or there was a battle, he went nuts, It looked like he was having an epileptic seizure.

I think he was a fan though, he laughed at the 'more than meets the eye' bits, I think him & I were the only ones to do so....

actually, it started from my butt up! but i felt that way the whole movie.

i felt like the most time, on my way to the theater:

    " gonnaseedamovie,gonnaseetransformers!"

    when i bought my pocorn:

    "teminutestotransformers,ommigosh!!!"

and when i was seated and the lights were shut:

    "holy f*ck! holy f*ck!!!

but i'm not gonna get to my favourite scenes, cause this post will take forever!

I felt it through out the whole movie. I vaguely remember the old 80s cartoon. But the wave of nostalgia hit me like a tsunami when I first heard Petter Cullen's voice in the beginning.

All the scenes with the Transformers gave me goose bumps. It was like.. ten times better then how I felt when I first saw Jurassic Park. How real the T-Rex looked and now you're seeing the Transformers and they look so bloody believable, thank you Spielberg. That's what I loved about this movie. It made me FEEL something inside, as an artist and the inner child we all have.

I got almost teary eyed when Sam said; "In 50 years when you look back on your life don't you want to be able to say you had the guts to get in the car." which is similar to a Mark Twain(sp) quote I love. And BB said "have any more questions you wanna ask..?" or something similar with the Goo Goo Dolls song playing in the background- they're one of my favorite bands.. ever. (although at the first time seeing it, I had no idea it was their song. When I saw it for the second time.. it was just... "8)))".)

When BB turned into the 08 (09?) camaro, my father nudged my shoulder and smiled -laughed. It was like we were all little kids again, glued to the big screen. I'll probably remember that moment for the rest of my life :) .

At first when I watched the movie I was feeling seriously numb, whilst chanting "Please let this movie be good, don't disappoint me!" In my head. When Blackout arrived and started blowing the Bejesus out of the Millitary Base, I almost screamed aloud (especially when he launched Scorponok(?) from his back and he retreated underground. It was a totally on and off thing for me whenever an Action Sequence or an awe sequence took place. I seriously screeched [silently] when Starscream appeared and rallied the Decepticons. And it didn't hit me that Peter Cullen was "Disemboided Toonami Voice" until I flashedbacked on the intro, then returned to the present just as he said "Are you Samuel James Witwicky, Decendant of Archibald Witwicky?" And after that I was freakin' out like crazy. I was so ready to Hate Peter Cullen but then remembered him from Toonami and then couldn't see the logic in hating a voice I was so totally taken with seven years ago (when Toonami was good)!!!

    Silly, Silly, Me.

But yeah, "The Shiver" Hit me Big Time. Its a feeling I shan't soon forget experiencing. I would list the shiver moments I had but it would resemble my "Favorite Battle Sequences" Topic Post.
