I never liked bullies or evil do-ers when growing up, and right now i'm working on my Criminology dagree, I'm 10 year old me will be good with me. Specially looking at how much my collection has grown.
I wanted to be a comic book artist. My hands tremble and even though I do have the imagination and perspective for "catchy" images, I suck at drawing anything beyond basic. I then wanted to design video games. Actually followed computer studies in multimedia. I work as a barman\barista though, with little chance of actually getting into what I originally wanted. So yes, the 10 year old me wouldn't like what I do, but he sure would like the toys I have now
Well not exactly. I wanted to be an actor which I am but I never thought I would be doing it on stage. I always imagined I'd be living in L.A. doing T.V. adds and working my way up to actually being in movies. If I could do it all over again I would of started theater when I was 4 and saved money till I turned 18 so I could actually afford to move to L.A.
I wanted to be a comic book artist. Now I'm a radio DJ and advertising sales executive. At least it's creative still
I wanted to be a voice actor. I sometimes voice in stopmotion series so yay i guess. But seriously as a official career that will be plausible....I still don't know at 17 and i'm graduating.
10 year old me would kill me. I wanted to be a marine biologist and here I am a graphic design and only kinda doing what I went to school for. So yeah. 10 year old me would be furious.
Only 14 right now but I wanted to work at Pixar when I was 3, be an actor for the majority of my life, be a director, then it was work at Channel Awesome, then be a comic book artist, now it's being a Voice actor. I'm bipolar in my career choices.
Actually that's normal. Only weirdo's like me stick to the same career path for their entire lives. But you should have a back up plan. I didn't and now I'm kinda stuck without a job and I have no skills doing anything else.
Step 1: Do something to become a billionaire. Step 2: Travel the world for seven years. Step 3: Become Batman.
i'm 17, want to be a voice actor i 'm inspired by the greats like don messick and frank welker. if i cant be a voice actor i'll own a sandwich shop
i also wanted to be in the music business as a singer but that whole bullshit corruption that exist in the music world killed it for me as a teen.
Never knew what I wanted to be when I was a kid...so I guess I'm exactly where I'd end up without having an actual direction to go in. That said, other then some small hiccups here and there, I can't really say my life isn't something a younger me wouldn't be happy with. That said, I always found this pic to be pretty apropos to the idea of asking what people want to be when they grow up.
