well I'm not an adult yet but younger me would kick my balls in because they stopped sending monkeys in to space
No. In kindergarten, I wanted to be a race car driver. I don't even like sports anymore. In 3rd or 4th grade, I wanted to be a police officer. Never gonna happen. In 10th grade, I wanted to work at a dairy plant and even did a Powerpoint presentation about it in English class. I'd still be interested but I just can't see it happening any time soon. Nowadays, I have absolutely no idea what I want to do with my life.
When I grow up I want a pony, I'm gonna ride her from dusk till dawn. I'm gonna brush her mane & feed her sugar cane, and keep her in safe from the storm...
Career wise, no. Life wise, absolutely, and better than I had imagined. I always wanted to be a video game developer of some kind when I was young. I've been doing IT for 7 years, and it's a fucking life sucking abyss. That's going to change within the next few years, as I start classes this fall for 3D Design and Animation.
When I was younger I wanted to be an Architect. When I graduated high-school, I got a job drafting and shortly after decided I really didnt want to go back to school. So I may not be an Architect today but I still do drafting and currently work for a Structural Engineer, so I dont think 10 year old me would be too dissappointed in grown-up me, the pay could be better but at least I dont have huge student loans so I guess it works out in the end.
My eyes and my knees said the same thing a few years back. That and I'm afraid of heights. As to the question, yes and no. I never will get to fly Apache Helicoptors, and I haven't opened my hobbie/gaming/comic book/toy store yet, but am I happy being a stay at home dad? After 15 years oin retail, Hell yes. out
well I always wanted to be like my dad who worked in government. Now I work in government... man I want to go back and kick my 10 year old selfs ass. I don't mind my job and the pay and benefits are excellent, but seriously, work for the government at 10. oh and an archaeologist that digs up dinosaur bones, although I never really did keep with that and kinda lost interest into my teen years. oh and to all you guys who still live at home in your 20s and aren't doing anything- yeah your 10 year old self should totally come back and kick your asses.
I wanted to be an Air Force pilot....instead, I work in waste. FAIL. so yeah, 10 year old me would beat the crap out of me now.
