    What defines better?

GC: "lefty world", traditional gc controls, no 16:9

Wii: "right world", wii-mote-nunchuck action, 16:9

Graphics are roughly equal... Wii might have a miniscule advantage, but only barely. I think I heard something about the camera being different because of Wii controls (I'll be honest I wasn't paying much attention to the camera - it functions well in both games)... I say stick to the system that you have and/or the control scheme you love. But in the end, we get roughly the same experience. Your mileage may vary.

So really, wouldn't the GC "lefty" world be the original version as it was planned first?

Us Wii people are the ones who are really getting the "mirrored" version.

The Cube version uses the C-stick for a free-roaming camera, which the Wii doesn't have. The Wii uses N64-style Z-targeting, which works really well and is pretty familiar, really. I've only had 1 problem with the camera getting stuck, and it fixed itself pretty quick, and I'm 36 hours into the game. Granted, the area in which it got stuck in, was one of those areas where as soon as you see it, you know it's going to get stuck.

Please, that was a huge sham. I've sighted the GC version in practically every store I've been in. Not in great, great numbers mind you, but certainly not the drought suggested by certain sources (*cough* eb/funco/gamestop).

36 hours and you aren't done yet?!

You aren't a true Zelda player! :lol

And there's NO FREAKING WAY that the final battle will be as good on the GC as it was on the Wii.

I got it for gamecube at Best Buy. went right after class, the day it came out. Ran as fast as I could through the parking lot.

My local Gamestop didn't even have enough copies to fill all their pre-orders

I got my version on tuesday at gamestop, it was rather funny as I got there people were standing around waiting for a wii.

as for the game, I'm glad I got the cube version the little time I had to play it on the wii felt very rushed. Where as on the cube it is almost flawless control. But hey to each there own

Most definitely wasn't rushed. It was Wii-focused for over a year. Took about 15-20 minutes to get used to the Wii controls, but I'd attribute that to the fact that it was the 2nd game I played on the system. Had I had more Wii-Time before jumping into Zelda I think it would have been a natural control right away as opposed to a 15 minutes in.

My Gamestop had none, but my Walmart had at least 8 or 10.

I bought it last night. Really fun. Just got my Sword and Shield and getting to go back into the night world as a wolf.

See this was the first game I tried on a wii, my friend had it up at the college and was getting tired and gave it a go. I suppose if i played wii sports or something and got use to the controller maybe I'd of had a different opinion.

While I stand by my statement that they felt rushed. I gotta admit after playing the final battle that would probably be a blast on the wii. But I stand by my choice

Argh, it kills me to have no time to play! The weirdness of inversion has passed, I think. Thankfully fishing is much easier (thanks to a good tips as well). Man the game is sooo long. 7 hours and I'm just starting the second dungeon? I guess that's a good thing. :D

Just got 100% (all bugs, Poes, hearts, fish, skills etc) and finished it

One of the best games I ever played. Was worth the wait. There was ALWAYS something to do if you wanted to screw around besides doing the main quest.

Only part I did'nt like was racing the Yeti wife, took me a few tries. That made my hands sweat.
It was'nt too hard, I was just getting nervous at the end and would go flying off a cliff trying to pull a tight turn at high speed :lol

*L* the only part that was a real challenge for me was the 50th floor of the cave of ordeals. 3 at once is pretty hard, specially when you've had 49 floors soften you up already.
