I personally think the best jokes came from jetfire:

    1. When he transformed, he actually had to push up his faceplate with his hand. That was just epic ! I'm sure many of us remember moments of frustration trying to transform some rather stiff transformers.

    2. The joke about his father. Jetfire said his father was the first wheel, he transformed into nothing, but he did it with honour

Jetfire had his lines, but I honestly thought the Twins were the funniest. They're lines were more numerous and were amost always funny:

"That hurt!" "Of course it's supposed to hurt, it's an ass-whoopin!"

"Ding-a-ling-a-ling, any big bad bot out there ready for an ass kicking?"

    "That's cause you're a pussy"

Personally, I found Wheelie and the Twins funny than Jetfire, though Jetfire's complaining about rust in his aft made me chuckle.

I don't think he was joking about his father, more like making a point.

I didn't really find him funny, but I didn't appreciate his characterization in general; would have preferred a wise Yoda-style sage rather than a curmudgeony old fool.

And the funniest line in the movie? "There is no tighter shirt. We checked." *fistbump*

Jetfire had his moments. I don't think he tried to be funny, it was the fact that he was old, and sometimes as cruel as this sounds old people can be funny in just their daily activities. Whenever my aunt has a senior moment she likes to make a joke about the alzheimer's setting in. She complains about her aches. Those were the reasons he was funny. The twins were also very funny. They were a bunch of teenagers. Like most teenagers they identify with the hip hop culture and try to emulate it. Which is why I don't think they were racist, because kids today whether white, black, or latino try to emulate the culture. They did prove their worth in a way by going with Bumblebee and Sam to find the matrix.

    Jetfire's humor was more natural

It did not require crude sexual jokes to make them funny

I found the Twins and Wheelie funny but thats because they used another type of humor

    totally agreed

the line that came from Shia Labeouf reminded me of the humor that Shia had in the first movie that was lacking in the 2nd movie.

This type of humor is funny is more appreciated. Its just like when he starts talking about pop-up pictures and mazes in the first movie....you start to like the guy for his quick wit to stand up against the bully.

And his only moment in that situation was him talking about the tight t-shirt

Yeah, Jetfire and Wheelie were definitely my favorite Autobots. :lol

    My favorite scenes...

Wheelie: "Oh jeez, someone shit the bed this morning."

*Wheelie, who's ANT-SIZED compared to Jetfire, lands on him after teleporting* "HEY, THAT FRICKIN' HURT!"

Jetfire: "My father? Well he was a wheel, the first wheel! You know what he transformed into? NOTHING! But he did it with honor, dignity!"

And almost anything else Wheelie and Jetfire said or did. I love characters with Brooklyn accents and I also take a liking to old characters who can still kick ass as though they're 20yrs. old again. A few good examples would be: Mister Miyagi, Master Splinter, Yoda, Count Dooku, Emperor Palpatine/Lord Sidious, etc.

Don't forget the 'foot-up-your-ass' response. "What size shoe you wear?" That made me die.

Yeah, Jetfire was pretty funny, like those old people who try to hard to sound menising and/or intimidating. If he were Yoda, I would've called him a rip-off.

I agree with you. Jetfire was fun, and I liked the fact that he was elderly and falling apart. He was hilarious. "Stick the landing!"

After the big emotional downer with Prime's death, he was the perfect character to keep the movie rolling along.

I thought Wheelie was the funniest till he humped mikeala and then i got put off by him from that. I thought the twins were hilarious for alot of it, and i didn't really feel anything for jetfire, all the spitting and farting put me off him too.
