I was 6 when the movie first came out. No, I didn't cry about Prime. He was never my favorite TF and I found him boring as a kid.

Prowl and Ironhide on the other hand. That choked me.
Especially seeing the Prowls face as he's blasted...

I wouldn't even be around until October 1987, so no didn't cry back then. Saw it in 2000 and wasn't even phased by it.

Didn't cry, just shook my head and walked away... and turned my attention to other things.

I didn't know there was a movie till years later since I moved to Europe and Transformers weren't popular there, and therefore they weren't showing them much and moved on to different things when I came back to Canada. Not until years later (2007) when it aired on TV and that's when I was in shock after seeing the Shuttle Attack and Optimus's death.

I didn't cry when this happened back in '86... mainly because that was sixteen years before I was born. :p

I saw the movie when I was 8, in 2006. It was my first introduction to G1 and it's characters but yes I did. I still remember everything from that moment.

I was in the theater and cried. I was shocked when they started killing other characters, but when Prime died on the table I had tears rolling down my face.
