Up until 2 days ago they had him on the website for shipping. But yesterday they took him off for shipping and today it also says not available in stores. So if they just had enough for shipping a couple days ago but now they don't even have them available in store, is it safe to say they took them off the sales floor and are sending them off to TJ Maxx etc?

Could be any number of things, but I've never seen a TRU exclusive in a TJ Maxx. They sit on those things at full price until they crumble from old age from what I've seen.

 

That's more or less what i was thinking.

Maybe they've simply pulled them for the moment to focus on Prime?

 

I'm thinking they've just shipped all they have to distribution centers and aren't expecting a restock until after the holidays (if ever). I've definitely found things that are "not available in stores" in large numbers in actual stores in the past, it seems to just indicate that availability is spotty.

They just did. The GIJOE Water Moccasin repaint. That was a TRU exclusive.
But something as expensive as MPs, I doubt it.

I know Walmart did it to Skywarp but TRU takes an eternity to clearance stock that I don't think it would happen this soon.

 

I have seen PLENTY of TRU Exclusives at Ross.

I work for Toys R Us, and still saw him on the shelves yesterday. If I had to guess, it's probably something to do with Black Friday, and wanting to actually get people into the stores. I'd be willing to bet he'll be back up by Monday.

 

I wish they would. I have yet to see him on the shelf at any of the TRUs in this area.

This is just baseless speculation, but I wonder if TRU's just not selling any more since there have been so many exchanges and refunds on this item. My first Rodimus was broken all to hell, and I'm not the only one. My second is perfect, so I've got no idea how common the defects are.

Assuming I'm totally wrong(probably), Isn't it possible that it could still return to the site? Does this always mean that something is really gone for good?

 

Probably to make room for all the Ultimate Optimus Primes. I was in TRU on Tuesday and it was just everywhere. Half the Transformers section was Ultimate Optimus Primes and there was a how tower of them in the middle of the walkway.
