okay i'm collecting movie deluxe decepticons. i recently brought overcast and stockade and then it hit me. after the initial waves the deluxe cons are deco'ed as pairs.

what i mean is overcast and stockade are black and blue, payload and dropkick basicly cover blues, and wreckage and dreadwing are white grey camo.

i was wondering was it done on purpose?

and if it was, is it a stylistic choice or a plastic economy choice?

personally I think it is more of a realism choice. Since the movie is based more on real life vehicles, I think they are going for a more realistic color schemes instead of having a menagerie of colors like in previous lines.

It's been said in the past it's all to do with realism. When you're dealing with military vehicles, and the odd black ops surveillance SUV, you're going to be limited on colours.
