If nothing else, Onslaught is proof that even the tiniest bit of personality makes the characters memorable.

 

I honestly thought TLK discussion would last a little longer before going straight into conversations and polls about absolutely nothing.

Onslaught didn't seem confident in his first scene and he didn't seem confused for the "majority" of his scenes. He didn't seem anything, he was a Genericon in every sense. He wasn't even in scenes. He was in A scene.

 

Well I mean chickens can "survive" without their heads for short amounts of time. And cockroaches and go a whole week without heads so it's possible Mohawk survived for a while.

 

I wish Onslaught would have been the brilliant military strategist we have seen in previous continuities, not a bumbling fool. I thought he would have been given a bigger role since Western Star was promoting his truck along with the OP truck on their website.

 

I don't think anyone would be happy if they were decapitated.

Don't you get it? Only the decepticons that are voiced by Reno Wilson will keep on living when decapitated.

Yeah I mean in DOTM optimus shot those orbital assault carriers down and then we saw Steve falling out of the air.

 

I wish Onslaught actually had meaning for being in the movie as the picture released by Bay and crew of his alt mode suggested.

Instead he literally just stood there as a video game target practice dummy as MLG drift and crosshairs straight up murders him.

all the PR team did with onslaughts announcement was just straight up false marketing.
shockwave i can sorta understand because of the whole sentinel twist (was still done in a shade way though),but now they just taking the piss of their own credibility. ofcourse you have to hype the movie up but don't do it with lies.

you would think that such "renown writhers" would know that the villains need to be as good as the heroes,but no... they don't.

those autobot kill marks must have come from accidentally stepping on autobot minicons or something back on cybertron.

 

It was literally a joke. The joke being "Oh, you THOUGHT they would get decent roles and character like the actual suicide squad(debatable)..*cue town "fight" scene*....but HAHAHAHA, no.

Also Barricade could take some damage. I mean a decepticon who can survive 2 blasts from Bumblebee and getting hit by a dump truck is quite impressive in the movieverse

 

Only if Onslaught was in the first movie like he was supposed to be. That would probably be the only way for him to get a good role. For those who are unaware

in a draft for the first film Onslaught showed up as a mobile missile launcher.

but then hasbro had to make a toy of it and ILM would have to actually put some effort in their work...

 

I'm wondering why Megatron chose any of those cons, apart from Nitro Zeus maybe. None of them showed much capability....
