Can he fit in an MP scale your view? Aesthetically, I think he does. Which might be better than thinking size wise. :tumbleweed:

Welcome to the fold, true believer! The scale chart is considered a holy relic on these boards.

Shameless plus, I have M3 for sale in my sales thread. If you're interested, maybe we can make a deal. PM if interested.

In my experience, it's best not to obsess over scale. A lot of us call that chart the "holy scale chart" in a demeaning way, because despite its existence scale has been shown so inconsistently just in the cartoon, let alone other media. I mean we're taking about a cartoon where a space shuttle and a Jeep turn into robots who are the same size.

However, as long as you don't obsess about whether or not one combiner is in scale with MP-10 or whatever, you can get nearly all of the G1 combiners roughly in scale with each other.

    Devastaor- Gravity Builder
    Superion- Uranos
    Menasor- Havoc
Defensor- Prometheus (GT is supposedly working on one, too)
    Bruticus- Warbotron WB-01
    Computron- Warbotron WB-03
    Abominus- Ordin
    Predaking- Feral Rex
    Piranacon- Poseidon.
    Liokaiser- Hades
    ToyWorld Dinobots
    ToyWorld Throttlebots

All taller than UW, between 13-16".

And for what it's worth, I get not wanting to spend $600 on a combiner, but spending $900 because you bought the cheaper one then decided it's not good enough and have to buy the more expensive one anyway hurts the wallet more. Buy the one you really want, even if you have to take longer and buy it in pieces. Don't just buy one to fill a gap.

I will certainly sell the UW Menasor if I decide to buy different one. Just gotta decide as well. Also saw reviews on Boldforms Lonewolf. So not sure about that. Gotta be careful.

M3 saw some videos of how motor master is complex to transform. I now show fear for this figure. :'(

Me too. My purchases have gone way down as a result. The only things I collect these days are the DJD, Takara MPs and occasional other MP figures. I miss people doing CHUG figures.

I actually put this guy together this year. I genuinely don't understand the fear for transforming any of him. Really fantastic set imo. Only have a few nitpicks. I'm regretting not picking it up earlier.

I've sold hundreds of my toys, M3 is the only one I regret selling. Partially because no one seems to be making a better set of stunticons, at least for my tastes.

When I bought M3 I transformed him once in to his bot mode, and once in to his Combined form. There he sat until I had to transform him in to his truck mode again. Nearly 2 hours later with both the instructions and multiple videos, my journey transforming him came to and end. And, I was happy because I sold him, and would never have to do that torture of a transformation again.

M3 is waaaaay over engineered. So that partly soured me on FansProject. But, more importantly was I realized that I no longer wanted Chug or Classics styled figures. Which is all that FansProject makes.

    M3 isn't even a voyager scaled combiner anyway. He's deluxe scaled :x

Same goes for all the CW/UW stuff, save for Devy.

There really isn't a good menasor combiner, is there? Seems like even the TFM Havoc suffers paint chipping issues.

It might be just down to M3, hard to make up your mind when this combiner doesn't do it. I was certainly happy with UW Devasator. Oh well. Maybe just hold off on a Menasor :(

ToyWorld is making a MP scaled/sized one. Whether or not they'll be very G1 is another matter though. They usually go toy-ish/Studio-Ox style.

TFM's is very voyager in size (he'll be smaller than Constructor, about the same size as Warbotron and Uranos, etc). The individual bot modes though, will be "MP" size.

If you're into Deluxe scale/size, M3 is probably the best looking out of all the bunch. At least to me. But much less affordable than the official set of course. He also goes the best with the other official deluxe scaled combiners from CW/UW.

Transformission is part of the same nebulously-defined conglomerate as Warbotron and Generation Toys. Not affiliated with Toyworld.

There's nothing to see yet. They just announced it, and they showed some artwork but nothing of the actual toys.
