I found this baby MIB and complete at a flea market for $25 today. I've found some limited info on it, some online places seem to be selling it for $400! Is that accurate? The guy I got it from said he got it for $85 new.

It says 25th anniversary - Time Bokan series - CSG-04

    Probably a reissue.

    NO YOU WERE RIPPED OFF.

$25 for just about any Chogokin is a good deal, reissue or not. Way to go.

Hey, I know I didn't get ripped off - I was just wondering if selling it would garner me a tidy profit. It's diecast heavy (I mean most of it!), articulated and intricate, but it's a bit of a parts-former and it's a bit too old school for my tastes.

It's a beautiful piece that I wouldn't mind displaying, but if I can sell it for $200+, off it goes!

Centaur-bots kick ass. I also found a 99% mint complete transmetal Sky-Byte for $2 that I needed. Flea markets are fun!

Hell of a deal you got, MMM, I envy you! :)  BTW, which flea market was it at? I used to go to the ones in Medina and Monticello years ago.

I need to find a flea market like that. The only thing you can find at mine are white trash.

Yep, it was Medina. Lots of Star Wars stuff, very little robot/TF stuff.

You could get as high as maybe $80 or so. It is a reissue, although it still isn't an item that was widely produced and/or available.

For what you paid I would open it and enjoy it(just be careful not to get bit by the Chogokin bug). You can always pack it back up later and still get far more than you paid.

Or you could just mail it to me.

It really is a great find.

Very nice find. I guess Time Bokan series aren't as popular as those super Robots but definitely more than $25.

According to my search it was released in 2000 and the original price was about 13000yen.

I guess they retailed then for about $125, but I was shopping for one for a while and they settled in the $80 range (about $95 with shipping).

Again, it was a real nice find.

Ok then, thanks guys. If he's only worth around $100 I'll probably hold onto him.

Maybe he'll go up in value, maybe I'll decide he's really cool.
