A while back it was reported that Susan Blu had left the show due to death in her family.

Well going through the credits, i checked that it wasn't her who directed Predatory it was Jamie Simone.

Jamie Simone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

He's done voice directing for alot of shows. I know this isn't that important but still, something i think we should be aware.

Well that new lady must be good, because this was the first episode where I felt true emotion out of Jack and Arcee.

100% Agreed. The banter between these two in this episode was sincere and genuine. I was extremely impressed. Because I can't really think of any other time, any other human in any other Transformer series has ever demonstrated that type of bond.

That's because there has never been a serious, well done Transformers show with humans before.
Animated wasn't serious, Beast Wars didn't have humans, and G1 wasn't well done.

And let's not even talk about Unicron Trilogy.

^As well as CR/RID, Headmaster, Masterforce, Victory, the Movies.......

Out of all seriousness though, they completely convinced me that these two are friends that care about each other. Predatory really cemented it.

I'm a big fan of Mr. Simone's voice directing work since he's pretty much Marvel's answer to Andrea Romano.

Jamie is actually the Scottish form of James.

Although I'm not the best person to be saying this as my middle name is Jamie and I'm a girl.

Didn't notice it when I watched the episode, but I was expecting it to happen eventually. It was nice for Sue Blu to still get some work on the show done before she had to leave. It's also nice to know that her replacement is already doing a great job only after one episode into the show.
