    1. The scene reuse?

    2. The fact that Megatron made it to Cybertron in a small amount of time, despite the fact that the Autobots said it took "years" to get to Earth from Cybertron?

they went back to a broken down ship on like one of Jupiter's moons or something, it's a ship called the nemesis. They explained it in the comics or something but didn't bother to in the movie.

That whole scene needed way more exposition...

...but I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be the Nemesis that's crashed on a nearby planet.

It's the one of the moon's of Saturn, I believe.

And, yes, there was 2 scenes that I noticed that were reused, and 1 scene that was altered a bit from the first film.

That was definitely not Cybertron, unless Cybertron is actually the moon of a ringed gas giant, as shown in the shot of Megatron flying towards said moon.

Wait. I thought it was obvious that it was Cybertron, so did everyone I know that saw it.
For Pete's sake. I'm getting sick of these expositions only accessible to the comic readers/novel readers/those in the know. Its the same thing as having half the new TFs nameless in the film.
Is it said anywhere by Orci or Bay that that is where Megs went?
Would have been nice to get some exposition. I was so happy and comfortable with the film until now. Now I am wondering what else I'm 'misinterpreting' as I have not read the prequel material or anything else, that I know, or not know, of. FFS.

It's okay, I feel the same way about several things like this, LOL.
There were several parts of the movie that needed exposition.

it wasnt obvious that it was cybertron, because cybertron wasnt shown. if he was going to cybertron, they would have shown cybertron when he was flying in space.

and for future reference, any time you find yourself making a "did anyone else notice" topic, just know ahead of time that the answer is "YES". in all caps. :p

I didn't come across any at all until now to be honest. :)

It was so mind numbingly obvious it was Cybertron though. Where the hell else would he go? There was no establishing shot of the 'Nemesis', no mention or voice over, no clues whatsoever that this was not Cybertron.
I didn't expect they needed an explanatory shot of Cybertron, cos like I said, it was obvious to me that that's where he'd go.
Need more info Mr. Bay! [IMG]

...anyway, I will always continue to think its Cybertron. Thats the way I interpreted the movie and the way I enjoyed it. So excuse me. Until they show it for real in TF3, thats how it'll stay for me. [IMG]
That is unless they CG an estanblishing shot on the DVD release, like the extra space shots they rendered for the AVPR DVD release.

There is already an establishing shot in the movie showing Megatron flying towards the moon of a ringed gas planet (which looks a lot like Saturn). He then proceeds to land on it amongst the remains of what looks pretty clearly like a derelict ship to me.

it has nothing to do with the comics......it was quite obvious that it was at saturn cause....um...they showed SATURN....it was just you weren't truely paying attention...and there was a pretty good shot of the shot down nemesis, who's model awefully looked like the classic g1 nemesis

The extra materials aren't necessary to see that it isn't Cybertron. They just provide further evidence.

I was paying attention, but perhaps I blinked when this 'ship' was shown. Sure seemed like Cybertron to me people.
Once again, it would have been nice to have had more comfirmation, or at least solid screen time for the derelect ship, within the film to properly show this.
If they'd explained a little bit as to that being the Nemesis, fine, but they didn't.
Not so much as a, "Follow me Decepticons, to our flagship, the Nemesis".
My nephew and brother in-law saw it last weekend and made the same conclusion, "...when Megatron flew back to Cybertron..." - I wouldn't be surprised if many of the general audience thought that.

Stop being so ignorant, it was a SHIP on the moon of Saturn, not Cybertron.
They show Megs flying into it in Tankjet form, CRASHED SHIP not cybertron
