And by AMP I mean Roadbuster...
I keep reading over and over again (on tfwiki etc) that Roadbuster is seen during the Cuba scene but I never saw him. He's supposed to be in this scene but none of them look like Roadbuster. And Roadbuster has a very distinctive silhouette.

I personally don't recall seeing him, but I am aware of the fact that there are at least two versions of the movie out, so it's not impossible. As a reference question, do you remember what Nitro Zeus said in the prison upon release?

I know, I think I saw the defenitive version because my version had the "you blew your chance to kill Unicron" line from Nitro

Also I miss Nitro Zeus. I wish he had survived till the next movie because he was a satisfying replacement for Shockwave (at least design wise) And he had more lines (even though most of them were just slapped on) and more of a personality than Shockwave.

 

I'm just thinking that it's possible,though not likely, that Roadbuster may have been in whichever cut you didn't see. I heard Dimaggio and saw the Junkheaps.

 

I didn't see roadbuster, or even a silhouette that looked like him

 

The second version has Barr thrown in it mixed with Dimaggios lines and the voice difference is so obvious...

Yeah, it's awfully weird. I prefer the Dimaggio voice myself. It also means that two of my three favorite movie transformers are voiced by the same guy. The third is also voiced by a runner-up (Barricade/Ironhide)

Speaking of Barricade... this is the 2nd time he got Frank Welkered again. What the hell did Welker do this time? I could imagine Welker locking Jess Harnell out of the recording room and saying "All your lines belong to me!" Either that or Harnell needed the toilet and when he came back people told him Welker already did his lines again...

 

I really do not understand the point of the actor switch for Nitro Zeus.

 

Reading all of this its almost like the producers didn't give a shit about consistency or attention to detail, especially WRT the robots.

Of course they give a shit about the robots. They were always the centre of the movies... right?? RIGHT??? 

 

In all fairness, the 2 bots in the pic look like slide & mudslap... I mean skids & mudflap

Starscream for being with megatron most of the time and a seeker.

but i dont understand the reason why nitro has 2 diff actors and lines. like he wasnt even an important character to have 2 voice actors.

Yeah, I went into TLK looking for Roadbuster because I'm all for old characters returning. None of the silhouettes looked like him to me.

 

i only saw it once i remember there being a green transformer fighting another transformer in the streets at night time of some city..maybe it was cuba? this was one of the first shots of the film when it returns to modern times...maybe it's the junkheaps everyone mentions but i cannot recall..i can say when i saw it the first & only time my first inclination was it was roadbuster but i then said 'nah, they wouldn't do that..' but then i saw topspin later on so idk maybe..i gotta see it again & slow it down like on blu-ray

 

I know what you're talking about, and that was definitely not Roadbuster.

 

I did see the topfoot though. Even though I could have sworn that topspin wasn't 48
