That when they released Bumblebee from Sector 7 his robot mode was totally trashed & filthy but when he transformed the car was perfect? Nice & clean & shiny!

I can't remeber if I mentioned this somewhere already .:drunk

I noticed he was PISSED OFF, which is probably the most realistic reaction anybody would have, if he just sat there and forgave everyone like "Oh I understand, ha,ha" he would've been a really fake character.

Too true, I like how BB put his Battle mask on after that and was pointing his weaponry at the humans like BACK THE F**** UP!

Bumblebee was so much cooler and tougher than in the cartoon.

I noticed the same thing with Optimus and Ironhide, their robot modes looked scratched up, but the vehicle modes were as clean as a whistle.

It wasn't in the budget to wreck the car modes.

Ironhide seems to have driven through some mud on his way to dropping off Capt. Lennox at home, at the very end.

Actually, their scans of Earth vehicles don't include dirt and scratches. ;)

lol none of the cars had any damage on them at all. After barricade got trashed by bumblebee you see him later in the movie on the highway w/ bonecrusher and he looks perfect.

bumblebee's bot mode was dirty and war torn right after he got the new camaro body. when all the autobots show up and do their roll call thing. but then he transforms into a squeeky clean car.

i only noticed bee having a similarly clean robot mode when he was being shocked [?] by sector 7 laying on that table in the dam.

    ah well

I liked that too, he looked ready to blast some people.

I guess if we can believe robots can turn into cars and shrink giant cubes to a shoebox, we can believe they are self cleaning and can touch up their own paint in an instant. Plus after he got his sweet new mode BB was more vain and wouldn't be caught dead rollin' around all dirty. :)

I think GM had a lot to do with that portion of the film. There were supposedly only a handful of those Camaros produced while making the film and they had to be extremely careful with it. I assume GM said HELL NO to their 2.5 hour car commercial containing dirty vehicles.

Foriegn particle repulsor fields built into each Transformer. Same way the Enterprise decks never have fluff on them.

Ha! Y'know I never thought of that. In TNG at least, we get to see the night shift on the bridge once in a while and there is no janitorial crew!

This movie's plot was like the sails on the Black Pearl. It was full of holes.

Their Vehicle Modes had Granturismoitis. That is, no car damage.

What science fiction plot doesn't have holes? Especially if you go searching for them. Kinda like saying "boy these fictional movies sure aren't real".....[insert proverbial duh here]
