AWESOME!!! I can't wait to see this. Is it going to get a theatrical release or is it straight to DVD? I've heard both.

Romero's been kicking this idea around for awhile. And it comes out the 15th. And I am fairly certain that it will rule.
Have heard too much negative about it to get myself excited, which is a shame because I love Romero and have a lot of respect for the man and his previous works.

Looks like my kind of film. Looks like 2008 might be the year I start going to the movies regularly again (at least to see a movie that's not called "Transformers" :tongue). Saw Juno last week, gonna be seeing Cloverfield when it releases and now I've got Diary Of The Dead. Hot.
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet. Will probably be too much of a chickenshit to watch this in cinemas, though. For some reason zombie movies always scare me to death, and to see all of that in first person...Yeeeaaah.
Was my intentions...I just am not letting myself get hyped up for it so I can't really be disappointed. It could surprise me. I find if I don't look forward to something as much I tend to enjoy it more.

So has anyone seen this movie? I watched it last Thursday and I must say that I loved it. BUT, it's more of a movie for zombie-flick lovers. The casual movie-goer would probably hate it just cause it's not really action oriented. Those who expect to see a lot of action would be disappointed. However, if you want to see zombies eating people or zombies getting shot in the face then it's a win-win movie.
