Gonna have to get my comic shop to hold a Warpath for me if they're getting that case in then.

Holy crap! That's a clever move by Hasbro. I'm still glad I paid a premium to get my Warpath and be done with it, but it's a decent enough way to get him into circulation in the collector market. (Still will pay somewhat a premium, and have rarity problems, but better than online only.)

The local comic shops around here mark up ALL of their Transformers toys pretty high, even the few PCC figures they got in. I won't be surprised if these are marked around $30 each.

Glad to see there is an additional channel for people to get them though!

Wow. They really are taking the easy route with these Bay covers. I mean, Nefarious, Rising Storm, and Foundation's covers have just been photoshopped (though the other covers are indeed original art). I mean, look at what Alex Milne did two years ago for Defiance Issue 4:

Compared to what they did here.

I smell BS here. Though I can't blame them, with how hard movie designs are to draw. And I am definetly not complaining about the really great story they've been telling in both Foundation and Rising Storm; as well as the superb art in Foundation as well.

Heh, it's not really a "move" on Hasbro's part. Transformers have long been available via the direct market. Thanks to my local shop, I haven't had to hunt for a single Generations/RTS figure since the lines launched. An extra buck or two above regular retail per figure is entirely worth it.
