As per the title. I'm going to be getting one soon and would like to get an acrylic base for it and so would like to know Primus' size in planet mode. Anybody have a measuring tape and toy handy? Thanks!

Just going by memory... around eight inches in diameter?

Sorry, that's just a rough estimate. I'm sure someone will have a more accurate one soon.

So, having a tape measure and Primus handy I can give you the following information:

Circumference: not including side spikes, about 21 inches
Diameter: again without the spikes, about 7&1/2 inches

    More importantly for you, though:

Space from "tower leg" to "tower leg": 4&1/2 inches X 4 inches

You may have been unaware that the planet mode has "legs" so it doesn't roll around.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for the measurements Mechadoom! I was aware of the planet mode's little legs; though I kind of forgot that any pedestal I get will have to have a small enough top to fit inside the span between the four existing feet. Thanks for the reminder.

Anyone else use a pedestal to raise Primus above a flat surface? If so what's it like and where did you get it? Bonus kudos points for pictures!
