I kind of want a G1 Sunstreaker now.  

 

I think I misunderstood the post. I will leave this guy as is. I thought this was a mix and match figure. I thought that is what you guys were saying. Since this is indeed a variant, he stays in his glorious state as is.

At the moment I like having a couple of figures in my collection like this. This makes the second I have. I have this and the GiG Saetta.

Best part is that they are both in great shape.

 

I love how some G1 cars come in a vast array of variations across all the countries, and some are just far more uniform.

Sunstreaker has so many variations, your DK-1 stickered version, the MB Sunstreaker in the Sideswipe box, the different shades of yellow on the various parts depending on whether it's G1 or Classic, the GiG pre-TF Sunstreaker that comes in yellow in a red Countach box...

Wheeljack is another one with all manner of variations across G1 releases.

I can't blame you at all for wanting to keep them, but beware, it's a slippery slope
