Are you refering to the KO? Cause I dont recall there being any "Taiwan" versions of diaclone as legitimate takara products. I have one MIB that I got from a guy on ebay couple years ago. He had a few of them actually. I think I paid something like 30-40 USD. hope that helps.

    Hey Guys,

How do you tell the KO apart from the real version? I'm picking one up tonight and was wondering what I should look out for?

I checked out the link on KO vs Reissues but that didn't help much...

    Thanks!

Thanks Redoptics! I just wanted to make sure... I scored one for $75 CAD without stickers applied. Hopefully this is a good deal, and yes it look like it is a real one.

What does the KO version have stamped on them? The real one I'm guessing will have Takara (Japan) on it.

It's not a modern KO, but a vintage bootleg contemporary with the original (a notable distinction), that's why you wouldn't find info on him there.

Others have posted the pics now. Summary is the English language box, no trademark stamp, and plain black face of the robot mark the vintage bootleg.
