They're very expensive, let me tell you. The small mecha alone go for around 35 USD.
yeah, that is the unfortunate part.
I’d have gotten Dia Battles V2 by now, specifically the grey version, if it wasn’t so costly.
I did a paintover/photocomp of a pic of the jetpack on the figure. I got a little carried away but it was fun making a sort of add for the equipment.
You sir are a man of many talents. That looks great.
I got a larger print bed so now I can work on the 4 pod transport. Still very rough but I’m excited to add detail and engines, etc. Thanks for all the feedback!
Some better pics with more action going on. Unloading the mechs to prep for a hit and run raid on the Waruder supply base. The transport allows the mechs to get within striking distance of a target that would normally be outside their range.
These are so awesome!
I have the engines and rotor blades modeled for the transport. It should all fit together with spinning rotors and removable blades. I'm making all the pegs the standard 4mm that the diaclones use. Should make for some fun combinations.
these look fantastic. I'm gonna give the backpack a print and try them out. Thanks man!
You continue to impress sir. You continue to impress.
I love the 70's Scifi aesthetic (whether directly inspired or derived from Diaclone's own updated-retro styling), plus the added functionality of the parts are great. Wonderful stuff!
Now I want a Sky Garry that transports Diaclone pods instead of Micro Trailers!
Working on Version 3.0 of the Mech Jetpack. Lots of influence from the latest diaclone images. And I'll be able to prototype this with my new much better 3D printer.

Got a print out of the Ver 3 pack and put some primer on it. Some stuff that's working and some other things that aren't. I need to scale some of the attach points and also work on the details so they better match the Diaclone scale and look. And I want to add a gimmick like the wings and jet can angle or the wings retract...
dang due, I like those.
Any thoughts on when you might upload the transport files?
Here's some more work on the transport. I added the rotors and the engine component (still rough quality print in PLA). I wanted to show how one can remove the rotors and insert other components for different missions and functions. Now it's starting to feel like a complete vehicle. Right now I'm just putting the first jetpacks up on Thingaverse. Someone suggested putting these up on Etsy as a kit maybe? Thanks again for all the feedback.
"Diaclone Light Duty Transport. This equipment is for transporting crate sized loads over rough terrain." I thought it'd be neat to have a little connection piece that let the little car from DA-14 carry its own mech crate.
That is perfect.
