This has probably been asked, but did they ever come with US G1 toys back in the day? My buddy has a box of G1 toys from his youth which he says are all his from when he was a kid - dug them out of his parent's house - and there are some in there. curious...

Could they have come from Diakron toys?

    Absolutely not. However...

There were some "Jet Robo"-type toys that were released around the same time as the original seekers - they came with Diaclone-type pilots.

Also, Diaclone toys were actually sold in the US before Hasbro bought the rights to use them in Transformers. The toys that later became Ironhide, Sunstreaker, and Trailbreaker were marketed in America under name "Diakron"

They could be from those particular lines.
