Any reason bidding is set to private?

That normally deters me from bidding

 

I think I was selling a very expensive Diaclone last time I used eBay (apparently in May!) and I left that feature selected because a lot of high-end Diaclone buyers I found preferred to remain anonymous.

I must just have left it ticked for this round of auctions, no specific reason otherwise.
