Today we have something new that I haven't done for quite a while. Well, I did it once aaaaaages ago. But today we have Ironforge of the Knights of Cybertron!

One of the Guardians Knights of Cybertron, Ironforge came to Earth, like the other nights, to study under the one that they called Dragonstorm. When she arrived, she only found the warriors Sky Lynx and Roller Lynx. 10 others warriors would soon follow, forming the knights. Now working with the knights of Camelot to defend the realm. Ironforge's most treasured possession is her axe, which she consistently polishes and keeps on her person at all times, even if it's just to refuel or she's performing simple chores. Like the rest of her knights, Ironforge hope that under Sky Lynx's tutelage, the group will learn how to unleash the secret power held by Dragonstorm.

And here we have one of the joint third placers of the poll, an updated version of Grimlock. And it has been over a year since I originally drew him, you see!

The first of the Dinobots to discover his new forms, Grimlock's new alt mode uses the DNA of the Tyrannosaurus Rex, one of Earth's most ferocious creatures to have ever lived. While he can be quite violent at times, Grimlock normally managed to keep his cool at times, though this is quite hard to do at all times with the likes of Slug in his team. As such, he has become the groups default leader, especially due to his background in the Autobot military. Grimlock does miss his time on Earth, and has yet to be able to reunite with his former team, who are still on the planet. But now Grimlock must fight for his new team, whether they want him to or not, proving that they can control their new forms and use them for the better.

And as mentioned before, here is the associated Part One of a story I've been waiting to do for a long time, Genesis of the Dinobots!

In a sense, except Grim isn't exactly 100% comfortable in his own new mode. Plus he has to deal with a:

Anyway, today we have the other third-placer, Big Primal (Aka Gaeaverse Big Convoy)

The reigning Primal of Eukayris, Big Primal, formerly known as Slammoth, was successor in the lineage of Primals to Onyx Primal. A firm Primal who thinks of his people first, Big unfortunately doesn't have time for rookies and amateurs, which means most of his Council of Convoy are very experience political professionals. As a result, some members of his council have decided to have Primal himself personally teach a group of young students in order to soften in up and make him show a little more compassion, perhaps even make him enjoy his work a bit. But for now, he's a grumpy sod, although he does really care, deep down, somewhere within that massive mammoth alt mode. Till then, everyone will have to grin and bare it.

And here's a caped variant for when council is in session. And yeah, his beast mode head has a helmet based on a knights helmet... ish.

I'm a bit confused as to why you went with Big Primal instead of Big Convoy.

 

In short, in the Gaeaverse, each of the main colonies is lead by a prime. On Eukayris, the term got mutated over time to become Primal. And on Eukayris, one of the Primal's decided to create a council in order to make sure what he/she did was the best decision. Each member of the council were given the title Convoy (Aero Convoy, Lio Convoy, Crow Convoy et al).

 

Oh, I see. So the council's not a Cybertronian thing.

 

There may be similar concepts on different colony worlds, such as the Forgefire Parliament, but yes, it is a body separate of the other colonies

 

And back! Today we have something in stock for a while! Today it's the present day leader of Micros, Rodimus Prime.

Spoiler: Bio

The second and latest Prime to lead Micros, Rodimus succeeded Micronus as the leader of the minicon planet, and boy does he love a flashy entrance. Formerly known as Hot Rod, Rodimus is one cool bot, and loves to be the life and soul of the party. Thank god his brother, Buzzstrike, actually understands their planets protocols and is happy to solve through the political crap and help his brother out, and Rodders appreciates it. Rodimus idealises Micronus, and strives to be like him... in a totally radical way! A lot of people aren't quite sure how Rodimus was chosen by the Matrix Flame of Micros, and a few people are disgruntled by it, especially those like Wavelength. But until something happens, Rodimus is gonna keep being cool and thankful that he has his brother around.

So as you probably guessed, a lot of Dinobots will be coming up, so I'm going to need to find a way to break it up! So I figured why not do another poll? You get to be involved to a degree, I get to see what characters you want and don't have to decide, while still drawing things I want/need to!

Edit: Forbidden Space is stuff that isn't in the main Gaeaverse, potentially a tangent universe.

And I love that Dinobot combiner too. The colours especially, and the skeletal features of the designs

And today we have another Dinobot, being Snarl, the former Eukayrian wolf turned stegosaurus.

Spoiler: Bio

Snarl was formerly a Eukayrian who was part of the small sect that would leave Eukayris to join the war before the space bridge network was shut down. Snarl would go on to become a tactician on several Autobot ships before he went missing in a slaughter caused by Black Shadow and Blue Bacchus. Now with a new team of Autobots forced together by their foes, Snarl has to be the logical one of the group, always being cautious of any possible ambush from any time and any direction. At times, Snarl will sometimes transform into his Stegosaurus mode to think, just as he would his wolf mode prior to his transformation. Snarl occasionally visits Eukayris, and works very well with his fellow Dinobot Swoop when on a mission.

Optimus Prime is a legend. Leader of Cybertron, Optimus was formerly the general in the Autobots known as Orion Pax during the war, and was Sentinel's second-in-command prior to Sentinel's death. Being a military leader was quite the peculiar turn for a former librarian. When Sentinel fell in the final battle against Liege, Orion fended off the Decepticons, forcing them into a retreat and, after million of years, finally winning the Cybertronian war. Now elected the reigning Prime, Optimus has reunited Cybertron with it's colony worlds, and hopes to take Cybertron forward into a golden age!

Gotta give a thanks to Stone, original design was a team-up between myself and him (see his thread), and I decided to tweak and update it.

I like how Snarl is actually based on the Cybertron(?) version of the character, just with a Stegosaur alt mode

And that Optimus is pretty awesome. The mix of red, blue and black looks good

 

He looks really young and cocky.

 

And today we have another Dinobot, this time being Swoop!

Spoiler: Bio

Swoop is the heart and soul of this new group of transformers, always there for his good buddies, and always trying to calm them down. As such, he is the perfect guy to represent Jurassitron for Cybertron. Swoop originally had a grounded alt-mode, so his new winged Pterosaur is a new experience, although Swoop's career as a Starfighter pilot, serving in Dauntless Squadron, does help him get used to it. Swoop supposedly went missing on his final mission, where he crash landed within the Decepticon command ship the Thunder Arrow, never reappearing before the dreadnought quantum jumps away from it's battle against the Zone fleet.
