I took the knock-off Device Label Ravage and am in the process of converting it to Autobot Ramhorn. I came up with the idea for this when they announced Blaster a few months back, but when they canceled him, I scrapped the project. However, now that Blaster is now going to be re-released, I decided to continue with the project. I mean, what's an Autobot played without his tapes? Going along with that, I also have plans to get a Device Label Cheetor and remove it's spots to make Steeljaw.

For those who are curious, I used Lego pieces to make the horns and the legs were cut down with a Dremel tool and glued back together to make them shorter. If you try this project, I would recommend the knock-off Ravage as it is put together with screws and not rivets like the real Device Label Ravage. Hope you enjoy; please comment.

    Update #1
Upon everyone's advice, I made the horns detachable. Also my girlfriend saw how much trouble I was having painting, so she decided to sit down and show me the right way to do it. She painted the entire toy beautifully. With Soundwave being her favorite Decepticon, she was very disappointed to have to paint a Ravage toy into an Autobot. All kidding aside, a big thanks to my girlfriend.

    Update #2
The horns now become a key chain for the USB drive.

This is REALLY excellent. I love how you incorporated the horn as a keychain; that's really clever :thumb

I had a question about the KO Ravage. I'm looking at it for sale on a site, but the angles obscure the head kind of, so I can't tell if it's supposed to have a jaw or now. Does it come with all the parts? The one I'm looking at doesn't have the USB components.

Also, this looks great. I love it when someone makes a kitbash look like a toy you could actually buy, instead of an obvious custom.

Awesome idea and great execution. I saw this when the horns just detached and that kind of turned me off the idea, but making them a keychain was a stroke of creative brilliance!

Thanks alot, man! How's the plastic? Can I handle it like a regular figure or do I have to treat it like a newborn?

very cool. like how it's not just a head mod, but you also made changes to the legs to give the figure a totally new feel.
