I just realized that! I couldn't find this crap anywhere, it just dawned on me while upstairs, and also the fact that I completely put this thread in the wrong section'!

I know it won't help your immediate need, but have you tried Tenax before? also very good stuff!

I haven't tried that one, but will admit, I've tried probobly everything else....
This stuff (devcon) is still second to SuperGlue's plastic fusion, in my opinion.

I've run MANY tests on many of the epoxies out there, even came across a new version of JB Weld, which has a 7 minute dry time (That stuff is great, however hated waiting 4 hours for the regular JB to set) The newer JB is decent, but doesn't hold a chance against the Devcon or Plastic Fusion.

I've got to make a thread/tutorial about the results of all the different brands, so people can not waste money (like I apparently have)

All in all, the Devcon is sufficiant for what I need it for, high-stress areas with connectors. I strengthen all my connectors with mucho epoxy and SCREWS are a MUST.

Plastic Fusion is the king though, impossible to remove from plastic once set.

High praise for Devcon! I must investigate, and a comparo review would rock! Being that Devcon is marketed as epoxy, is it a two part affair? Tenax is very much like CA glue, except it "melts" the two plastics together, effectively making them one!!

yep, the devcon plastic welder is 2-part, the only type I would trust for higher stressed areas, for the 1 part stuff, I use zap-a-gap, also great stuff.

The stuff never fails. You definitely have to use the mask while sanding the stuff, but man...once it's on, it's ON!!

Stupid ass walmart people, just drove 40 minutes to a walmart where the guy on the phone stated "I'm looking at it" and of course, they didn't have any, then drove another 30 minutes to a different walmart, where I bought all 13 of them, well, at least I have some now. ;)
