This is my very first attempt at creating an articulated figure. This is a KO devastator that I got from Big Lots. I used parts froma KO Alternator Wheeljack figure and parts from a StarWars Tie fighter Transformer. He now has articulation in his hands, elbows, wrists. thighs, head and knees. He took a very long time to do. I would like to thank everyone who replied to my WIP thread and gave me suggestion for his color. After he was all painted up, I made an attempt at doing some washes to give him a dirty look. I am very proud of how he came out. I just might try this again if the mood ever hits me. Unfortunately because it was such a cheap KO he no longer transforms back into the individual bots. C&C welcome as always.
    Without further ado

Cool man, it's always nice when you can surprise yourself by trying something new like adding articulation or trying washes. Did you do the individual bot modes too?

Unfortunately no. The KO wasn't very good. I have to add that to my post.

    Looks good.

I wish I could find that KO Dev at my Big Lots. :(  Even if it is shoddy.

Thanks. The only parts that aren't KO are the legs and waist from the Star Wars figure.
I made that from a necklace my wife gave me to use for parts.
If I can find another, I'll let you know. He wasn't very much.

nice work and congrats on your first articulation!
my only change, i would have found a way to mount dev's head directly over his body.

I'll remember that should I ever attempt this again. He was fun and aggravating at the same time.

Of course! Those $13 combiner KO's are total crap! The Dai Atlas and Dinoking KO's are the good ones. ;)

I really like what you have done here cheetor71:thumbs2:
It looks just like the cartoon Devastator.
Are you going to make Superion, Menasor or Bruticus?

Thank you for the nice words. I don't have any plans to make Superion, Menasor or Bruticus right now. I may attempt them at some point in the future.
