Since the got a new Constructicon do you think at the near end they will combined into Devastator? Scrapper can be the legs, Mixmaster will be the arms and torso and Dirt Boss is the head, or Scrapper is the arms and torso and Mixmaster is the legs. I would like to see that in a toy set like Optimus and Megtron or Jetfire and Jetstorm.

No, I'm talking about the gift pack that came in the Animated line with deluxe Optimus and deluxe megatron that included a DVD.

    Ooooohhh. Okay.

If they do, that'd be kinda disappointing. If you want a REAL Devastator, you need more than three bots.

Yeah, without them cheaping out on the toys, reusing molds for limbs like Classics Devy and having figures that actually transform from alt mode to bot mode unlike ROTF Devy.

One con for legs, one for torso and arms and Dirtboss for head. I don't see how that couldn't be awesome, especially seeing as how he's part headmaster. :)

As I recall, one of the original ideas was that they would introduce the Constructicons slowly, like 1 per season, then after 8 seasons or so, we'd finally get Devastator.

Where did you hear that one? That's totally news to me and I've been following Animated news/rumors from the beginning. Seems a bit extreme to plan THAT far ahead given that most cartoon series these days don't make it past four or five seasons.

It came from some interview with Eric Sienbaler.

But he wanted around 4 seasons of set up not 8.

Plan got ruined when suddenly the writers needed the constructicons for season 2.

There was a leaked pic from Derricks sketchbook a long time ago that had Mix transformed into some leg action. I hope they do end up being Devestator, but not counting on it

somehow I see it might happen, dirt boss part headmaster that can control other bots, I think that could be used as a good plot opening for it.

I think they are already Devastator, they were all connected when they were transwarped and there was a huge explosion that couldn't just be fuel. Also, I think the Dinobots just got a new well, dinobot, Sludge because that company had a robotic dino for a logo and it was a fossil fuel company and there was an explosion with alot of metal and 3 Allspark-powered robots so maybe Sudge now exists too.

Got a pic of that? Can't find it at all...

As for Devastator, he'll probably pull a GaoGaiGar and be a Symmetrical Docking combiner, with Dirtboss forming the chestplate and head.

I can definately see Wyatt basing a possible Devastator design on this guy, though obviously bulked up, Scrapper's crane on a shoulder...

Looks like symmetrical docking may end up being the order of the day where combining in this series is concerned... :lol

It could even make sense, too. The Constructicons are badly damaged, Megatron sees the potential of the Jet Twins, has Shockwave steal the research of that project...And voila, Devastator is born!
