I'm quite excited. My Ptitvite inspired Devastator after many trial and errors finally stands firmly on his own!

Next up, I need to fix cosmetics (ie make joints hidden, add a head, chest plate, etc) then comes my favorite part...the paint job.

I'm too excited not to have posted this, but being my first real semi-kitbash, and a large one at that, and that all that weight doesn't topple over...I'm just too excited not too. ;)

    new Mixmaster!

website's on it's way. I have it 1/2 coded, but it's quite complex, mix of html, cool javascript, videos, and flash, so it's quite a bit. hopefully tuesday or wednesday.

Flash is my specialty. I've build too many sites using flash, and now work for a social network as the design team's Flash Manager. I eat and sleep flash ;( and i hate it more than anyone. it's a peice of shit program and the programming language used in it, is a joke.

Are you thinking of something strictly flash? You should perhaps snag a cool template online (templatemonster is good) or get bits and pieces from an online resource (like flashkit)

anyway, you'd need flash program, which is quite cheap. I love to animate, which got me hoooked in the first place.

Cool so your a web designer, I am working on my Graphics degree as we speak but I have not dabbled in the flash as of yet. So you are saying you do not recommend it for websites? I have Flash CS3 but just because that is what my course requires, but I will stick to my other methods if you don't think it is worth it.

LOL Wow, I have officially hijacked this thread, sorry F_R.

my advice to someone getting a degree in graphic design....get your face in web design books today. there's hardly a market for graphic design, even with 5 years exp, a 'higher paid' graphic designer is likely to make 40-50k a year. whereas a web designer, with 5 years exp is going to make 70-90k a year. I originally started work in Philly, then worked in New York, then Jersey, now in San Diego. There's such a cornered small market for designers, and if there is an opening, they pay next to nothing to start (I've been offered design positions with a master's degree starting at $14.00 an hour.)

don't wanna sound like an asshole, but it's reality, and tbh, i like you tony, and don't want you working as a waiter in Olive Garden to make ends meet

The web is where it's at. It's the same industry, just a different platform, bigger audience, more $, etc. ;)

No sweat F_R, I know you like me, you wouldn't have put up with me this long if you didn't.;)

I figured that is the way it is in the industry, I will be definitely focusing all my elective credits towards web design, I am glad you are here to be my sempai. I love the Omega Supreme BTW, I bought one to do the same for my self but it did not come with the blasted face mask so now I get to make my own. >.<

f_r, this project is looking SWEET man! I can't WAIT to see you finish it!

Also, your commentary/advice is very helpful (and accurate). It's always cool to see artists creating in multiple fields. :)

I feel fortunate that the car sales market in my neck of the woods does a ton of print/publication design work. I haven't touched Dreamweaver or Flash since Adobe bought it.

Are those the hands from Primus? Left over from Magnus? Just curious if it will transform back. (Noob questions, sorry)

That looks AWESOME!!! I have a few questions though (noob question maybe) How do you combine them all together so they dont fall apart when posed? Can we see a pic of the back aswell? Who did you use for "Mixmaster"?

Excellent! I have a similar idea in progress, but I'm hung up on a few aspects. Perhaps you could slip some knowledge my way:

*Mixmaster...I haven't found a suitable replacement that is scaled to Landmine/Grindcore.
*Hook...I can't decide whom to use, there are several options that look gravy. I see you're using Hightower...something to consider.
*Bonecrusher...I was pondering the use of Wedge, which it appears you did as well. That's gravy, knowing the scale is similar.
*I'm waiting for Demolishor/Grimlock to come in the mail to look at my options for linking the fellas together. Some old Bionicles may have to give up limbs and ball joints!

A+++ execution so far, as I would expect from you!
