the left arm IS floating   nah, his connector is just hidden in the angle the pics are in.

The wood grain will be taken care of, not in a hurry to do it right now.

He's overall pretty stable. I need to tighten his ball joints for his arms.

New pics will be up this evening, with the 2nd version of him.

 

Second version looks better...he's darker and more haunting looking...and again the use of LED's are great...

BTW, drill a hole in his neck to fit the balljoint socket. It should look a bit better.

he has turned out 4X better than I was hoping he would. This has been my first real kitbash, and will not be my last.

I started becoming a part of this radicon forum in reasoning to quick smoking. And ever since, I have not had a smoke in over 3 months. I hope to get better at customizing as i go.

Everyone who has inspired me to discover such a wonderful thing, I give great gratitude.

I love these boards to death, and once this devastator is sold on egay, i'll be giving a percentage to TFW2005, simply because I havnt had the extra money to donate.

These pics put a big-ass fanboy smile on my face. The energon station is such a killer concept for accesory usage.

The darker military green colour gives this build a unique characteristic all its own.

 

I love the diorama, and I really like your work, buddy. This is VERY inspiring.

Also, I'm glad to hear that making customs and posting your work here in Radicons is therapeutic to stop smoking.

You know thyvipera, these pictures of the Energon converting station with the Constructicons..it looks fan-DAMN-tastic. Almost watching an old G1 episode.

 

what base did you use for the head, or was it hand built?

 

its a supreme starscream head (from cybertron)

 

1 of the heads is like RL said, a suprme class SS head.

the other G1 accuarate is a custom head, casted from ptitvite himslef, and is truely awesome and highly reccomended. check out his thread when u find the time, awesomely handy dandy stuff he has there
