Ok I was looking at the list when I came to the decepticons.... it has Demolishor (Cmdr. Doomwheels) NOT being part of DEVASTATOR!!!!!

While Demolishor (guy crashing through bridge in trailer) isn't part of him..... but he is in the toy form......

Hasbro reps at toyfare already confirmed that Demolishor is part of Dev.

yeah i notice that also and then i started thinking, what if prime takes down demolisher like we see him jumping on him in the trailer. but then again. i figure the article was full of mistakes so i just let it go.

 

Yes, I do expect them to name all the bots in the movie if it is "the full list of all the giant robots that will appear in the new movie". If they said it was just main characters there'd be no issue, but it claims to be complete when it's not.

just like how they described that there's a scene where Sam's house gets ravaged (no pun intended) by 10 or so little Frenzy bots who are probably just drones

That list sounds pretty complete to me. I could care less for those little mini-cons or drones, whatever you want to call them

Asking them to name all the bots is like asking them to name the Autobot that got speared by Megatron in the Cybertron flashback in the first movie.

 

Yes, including the fodder-bots. If you think they weren't worthy of being mentioned at all, that's fine. But the article still shouldn't have said it was a complete list when that's obviously not what it is.

And the article didn't need to give each one a name, just say "quite a few Decepticons posing as kitchen gadgets", "a number of robot bugs called Insecticons", etc.

And that's still leaving out the other two motorcycle bots.

 

It's Dreamworks. We know that Bay said there was misinformation. This could be one of the more lame types of that, as we know "The Doctor" is going to be really called "Scapel" in toy form.

As for the constructicons, most of those names may not be even used aside from the ones we already know. Hightower, for example, was just the name used when the Constructicon Maximus repaint was released in Classics to replace both Hook and Mixmaster. However, since Hook is a generic term, I guess that's what Hasbro wants to be used in place of hook from now on.
