Despite the forum boards rantings, ravings and screamings of 'OMG, DEVASTATOR' he never actually appears in the trailer. Only the 'steam shovel' and 'dumper truck' parts do, trashing roads and black hawks respectively. We're unlikely to see his combined form until the movie release, toy release, toy leak or a awefully good movie leak

Even though no one is commenting on this I'm glad someone started this thread. You are 200% correct. Devastator is not in the teaser trailer. The steam shovel part of him wrecks shop on the Bethlehem Steel site and then again on a Chinese highway while Optimus jumps on him. Just the steam shovel alone is huge....about as tall as a three story building. I'm assuming that all the constructicons are made up of the giant construction vehicles that you see on Modern Marvels, Mega Builders and Mega Machines rather than the smaller contruction vehicles you see on your average civic construction site. Devastator is gonna be huge! I can see now why his toy version is gonna be pricey:bowdown:

Agree. That was just one construticon. I think he is Scavenger if he is a G1-ish character.

I agree it is not the complete Devastator, but it is more than just the giant shovel. Why? Look at the pic again. The entirety of the shovel is on just his right arm. There isn't enough of that one piece of equipment left to make up the whole rest of the robot. There has to be at least one more bot in there.

Yeah, that bot is clearly just the steam shovel. And those things are HUGE! My office has a picture of one of those up, next to one of the giant dump trucks (Vehicle used for Long Haul), and this thing is much bigger! In fact, it has to be, cause in the picture this vehicle is filling the dump truck, heh.

This Constructicon, if I am thinking correctly, will be the biggest of the 7.
What are the other confirmed vehicles? I am almost certain this one is the biggest.

Nonononono the trailer defo shows TWO of the constructicons. The steam shovel rolling down the road and what looks to be the dumper truckicon (similar to that concept art that turned up a while back.) trashes choppers. Though the arms look kinda similar, you can definately see the two massive wheels at his shoulders

    *EDIT*

Yes, I'm insulting the intelligence of some of the more intelligent forum members but as soon as that trailer came out there was a tidal wave of 'OMG LOOK, DEVASTATOR'. It was kinda sickening to see it

You're just looking at a weird angle. His lower wheel is pushed way in front of him, while the top wheel is pushed way back, to maintain balance. I can see how you could confuse that top wheel as a shoulder appendage, due to the angle. But nope, it's the same con.

Theres a difference between wheel and catterpillar tread, that definately looks like a wheel to me. Also, i noticed, you can't see the 'steam shovel cabin' like you can on the other picture where he is tearing up the highway.

Dude, we've seen the toy already, and the caterpillar treads convert to wheels. That's the same robot in both the "helicopter" attack and "highway" scenes of the teaser.

You can see the wheel he's rolling on in the helicopter scene here: http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/attachment.php?do=fullview&attachmentid=13424
