Here he is at long last! After 5 weeks cutting, grinding, sanding and painting he's finally finished. I'm still working out the kinks with my camera, but I was able to find a few good pics to post. For some reason the purple I mixed comes out blue in the pics, and the green I mixed doesnt quite pop like it does when he's right in front of you. You really have to see him in person to appreciate the colors. Thanks to Ptitvite and everyone else who has done this project before me for the inspiration, to Frenzyrumble for the water-slide decals (they work great), and to all those who complimented me along the way for keeping me going. This was a great learning experience, and I'm already chomping at the bit to get started on my next big project. Sadly, this one is going up on the auction block this evening. I originally intended to keep him for myself, but I have some surgeries to pay for and I'm in need of money very soon. Hopefully he finds a great new home. Enjoy!

Thanks guys for all the compliments, I really appreciate it. Sioce, if you need help figuring him out let me know, you may even be able to improve it. I have a crazy idea for Nemesis Prime that I wanna try, but I also recieved 3 Masterpiece Skywarp's yesterday for Christmas, which would make the perfect 3 amigos (Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker), still debating what I want to do next.

Lots of trial and error, sometimes you just gotta go for broke, whether or not you know how. I started doing this kinda stuff over 20 years ago, modifying toys as a kid and "painting" them with Sharpies. Get in there and get your hands dirty my friend, you may surprise yourself.

That paint job is awesome looks like they are straight out of a hasbro box. Did you take alot of pics on Mixmaster to share with the rest of the class?

I'll try to get more pics of Mixmaster, I'm still figuring out how to use this camera. Most of my pics were during the buildup, did take much more than is shown when finished.

I'd really like to see a tutorial on your Mixmaster. Or at least some detailed shots of him in robot and alt mode.

    Your Dev looks great!

definitely one of the better devs, the colors are spot on. i like the mixmaster changeup, keep on bashing. one day hasbro will give us a supreme size figure whose legs were made to be more than a quarter inch apart.

Dude, that is INTENSE. It must've taken you ages to get everything you needed and to paint the thing up so perfectly. I appreicate the amount of work put into this, great job!

You guys are too kind, I just tackle every custom like I was keeping it for myself. Got a couple crazy ones in the works right now, keep an eye out. Several of em I've never seen anywhere, hoping I can pull em off. Matter of fact, I'm opening a couple of arrivals from Japan as we speak....
