Remember the Devastator I sold via ebay? The winner requested an additional "Cartoon Style" head to swap in with the other one.

Sculpt-bot cast this head for me, which I then added a ball joint peg and then painted. It finally arrived in Spain, where the guy took some new pics with the new head.

I absolutely love it, I think it screams Devastator now. Just wanted to share the pics with you guys. I am pleased to see that he's almost 1 year old now and holding up great.

the new head looks great. why is he yellow and not green? Did the paint fade or is it the light?

I never went with the straight green. I chose more of a yellow tone. I think it could be the owner's camera settings and/or lighting. I posted a pic up top of the colors using full spectrum lighting (closest to natural light)

New head works better. It makes it more standalone compared to your other combiners.

Oh yes, this is Sculpt_bot's creation. He carved it starting with an SS Starscream head. I love the way it looks.

The only thing that bugs me about the new head is it seems to be missing some of the detailing highlights the other head had. *pokes forearms for comparison*

Couldn't agree more...I hate to say it, but the overuse of the Cybertron Supreme Class Starscream head was getting out of hand...

Especially on work like this, where so much effort goes in...

Don't get me wrong, the Starscream head was OK...but I think we can all say that you could have done better! Glad to see this awesome combiner get a head befitting of it!

Well, technically this Devastator was the 2nd ever gestalt to use the SSS head. Like it or not, all 5 commissioned Devastator order people had the option of choosing this one or the SSS head, and all 5 chose the SSS head.
I love this one also, but it's good to have the option, would be even cooler if I can figure out a way to light up the visor.

i think you should really start thinking about making exclusive frenzy_rumble masterpiece or G1 boxes for your customs. you already have the photos and photoshopped, why not just print a box for the buyer to store them in as a bonus item or for a little extra cost?
