I didn't see a thread on this, but.. has anyone ever wonder it to be kinda like Arcee sisters... where Hasbro will release the 7 constructicons in deluxe and voyager size, and with the final Constructicon surprising us with a combination instruction to combine the deluxe/voyager class bots into one MEGA-supreme bot?
well, that's good. because I don't plan on grabbing the constructicons because I don't think all of them were good molds. But I just didn't want to have a feeling of missing out on a giant combiner.
Nope, not happening. You seem to not realize that on ROTF Devastator, Demolisher/Scavenger makes up the main torso while Mixmaster makes the head, both toys having already been released and neither one having any combination ports (or the face in Mixmaster's case). Also, Voyager Long Haul, whom is a leg, is unevenly large and bulky in comparison to Deluxe Rampage whom is also a leg. We know for fact that Scavenger, Hightower, and Overhaul are not coming out. And arguably the most important, combining Voyagers is incredibly unpractical. EDIT: Wow, I feel snobbish.
that's ok. But I wouldn't have realized anyways, because from the reviews I didn't plan on getting any of them, let alone examine them closely to see if they would "fit"
What ever happened to the whole "A Radicon is going to make an ultimate Devastator out of these and prove Hasbro wrong!!"? I don't think we ever saw that happen unless my search skills are completely failing me.
You can't really take all the component parts and make a combiner out of them if Hasbro doesn't release all the component parts. There's a bunch of armless, crotchless Devastators out there.
Seeing as Hasbro never released instructions on how to combine Mindwipe and Skystalker I think it would be funny if Hasbro actually released all of Devastator's component parts and then never released any documentation on how to combine them.
I actually like it when they don't release that kind of info. It makes for a lot of fun fan combinations.
Ah, RotF Devastator. Biggest missed opportunity of the toyline. I miss decent combiners in general, and am always still holding out hope for that one really great one.
I don't see how they'd have the Constructicons properly combine without loose parts --like Devy's face, maybe his hands, too-- given how unorthodox the robot modes are. It'd actually be kinda cool if they made fodder 'Cons for loose parts a la Scrapmetal/'ze little one'.
