Ah man. I really hope this isn't going to be 40 or 50 bucks... Then again, I seem to remember reading on their site that they only ship within Japan, so I won't be getting it either way.

Still, you'd have to be pretty ballsy to charge a lot of dough for a tiny version of a highly hated character. :lol  Though I do have to say, this is some nice craftsmanship. Stays true to the original, while improving it. And I see how they pulled off adding the new head, very nice!

Even though I probably won't get it, I hope Japanese Wheelie fans out there will enjoy it. :)

"Nanoscale"? You mean these things are microscopic small?

Oh, silly me, I also didn't say anything about Springer. XD Well, uhm, he looks neat. Despite being a Wheelie fan, I might wanna get him more than Wheelie. He looks more intricate, and to replicate the triple changer gimmick is a sign of great toy engineering.

Might just be a catchy name, or a way to get around using the "World's Smallest Transformers" name. Looks like it's around the same size as Optimus, judging by the pictures. I don't own any WSTs, but I'd assume that makes him... 2 inches tall in robot mode?

If you really want them, I'm sure they'll eventually show up on Jizaitoys' Ebay account - They always do :)

Kind of neat, especially Springer, but I've never understood the appeal of the WST line.

$40-50 would be cheap for these methinks.

Yup, definitely. I would expect like $70 to $90 for these at Wonderfest. These are lower run compared to stuff by fangroups sold at online stores. Maybe like a 30-50 piece run, if at the most. And since Jizai is like one guy making these, the costs are to be expected.

About how big are these fellas? They don't include any figures for scale. WST small or smaller?

It's great that Wheelie's head actually works on the nanoscale figure, while on the regular G1 it's... well it's in his chest!

I think some of the appeal is you have characters like Prime, Jazz, Bumblebee, and, the seekers in scale with your base TF's like Fort Max, Metroplex, Scorponok, Trypticon, & Overlord ( Of course, you probably already knew all the base TF's any way ).

Aren't the guys responsible for the WST Dinobots and Shockwave already doing a Springer?

Sad but true. I'm a cheapster, so garage company items like this - in my opinion - should have normal prices, despite how unrealistic they may be. XD In this scale of a figure, I'd pay $20, 30 at most.

I like these, look fantastic. On a side note jizai is different from the others because they get permission to make and sell their stuff.

Well, that answers my unspoken question of why they're calling figures by name and not by codenames like "Survivalist" and "Robotcoptorcar" :)

Typically steer clear of 3rd party stuff unless it's a character I really, really like.

Neither of these guys fit that category, but they look good.

I'm guessing $60 for Wheelie and $99 for Springer (or around that w/ Yen conversion rates).

Isn't he asking for trouble with that "©2009 Tomy" bit?
