Yup that's Prime Starscream to a Tee.

I had the opportunity to hold some Prime figures over the weekend.(Prime Megs and BB)
These things are gorgeous and of such high quality. I can not wait to begin my Prime collection.

In order, how would you rank the figures?

I was most surprised by Megatron. He is small and we all know he will get a Leader Class but his deluxe mode was nice.

Prime has an awesome Voyager mould coming but the Deluxe was nice.

BB was probably my favorite because he is in the right scale. The feet are a little big but not as bad as I thought from seeing pics.

WHat got me most was how solid the construction was on the figures and how vibrant the colours were and how true to show they are.

I'm trying to decide which Starscream to get... I don't want him too big (Voyager SS would be the size of Optimus and Skyquake and Bulkhead) or too small (I don't want him the size of Arcee, either).

I don't know about you, but I feel Transformers as of late haven't been very solid. If what you're saying is true, I'm a happy guy.

Did the Prime figures have good articulation overall? Articulation is kind the most important part of a figure for me.

Anyway, that Starscream is freaking perfect. He will be "the" Starscream for me.

Actually from the pictures I've seen Starscream is really tall for a deluxe. He's bigger than all the others I've seen him next to(Prime, Megatron, Bubmblebee). Here he is next to Optimus who seems to be the average size for a Prime deluxe. Go to 7:11

I haven't played with the toys but based on some of the poses in the linked pictures and Peaugh's reviews of Starscream and Matrix Prime they apparently have very good articulation

Ugh! Sucks so much that we have to wait until 2012 to get our hands on these guys. Just doesn't make since to put out a tv series and wait until the next year to release the toys for it. I mean look at the new Thundercats the toys for it are already showing up now. Sigh. I want these so badly. My bad I thought that was voyager Starscream. So we will actually be getting him between November and December along with Bumblebee and Arcee.

I still can't get over the leg under kibble in alt-mode. Really doesn't work for me.

And yes, I know it's not the first jet-former to have under kibble. But with this design it just sticks out way too much to me. From what I've seen, the Voyager is sadly not that much better.

Also don't care for the nosecone tail, either.

The only thing I dislike about this fig is the pauldrons. If they could have been made dark grey, the figure would be absolutely perfect aside from the missiles and nosecone butt. Those pauldrons are the main draw for the voyager to me, but the voyager's jet mode is so... ew.

If the pauldrons were dark grey, though, then you'd randomly have a dark grey section smack dab in the middle of the jet's fuselage. A bit of a trade-off there.

Yeah, I know, that's why I think it's a negative. I just wished they could have solved those. :(

He's such a damn diva. Might as well call it Slipstream haha. Awesome figure regardless.

Impressed at the quality of the figure and how well they captured the Starscream. Maybe it's my age, but it's always odd to be to see updated characters whose color schemes don't match back to their G1 originals, and this is definitely the case with this Starscream Prime character in general.
