though why is every sports car in this movie series that's not bumblebee or a cop car silver?
i know i know, sure they have their reasons. but maybe a bluish tint on the silver would be nice?
Looks like they made ROTF Sideways out of a combination of the molds of Bumblebee and Barricade.
Still, looks pretty sweet. I'll have to get him.
I'm really hoping the final has more paint apps the blazing red torso is just a bit overkill for me
Eh, cool but I'll spend my money on more creative robots than "hood becomes chest and roof becomes back" robots.
Those are some well-taken pics; the last one is particularly imposing.
Still, I'm really getting impatient to see the instructions for this dude, because I've yet to see a foot configuration for him that I've been totally satisfied with; the little pixie-feet shown here seem really off, but non of the heel solutions I've seen have convinced me completely either. I'd like to know one way or another at this point...still, fluorescent crotch notwithstanding, I like him enough in both modes to consider a purchase, especially if he has a decent role in the film. The shot of him in the trailer went a long way to swaying me already...
Friggin' awesome imo. This one is one the reasons why I think ROTF designs are an improvement.
I don't get ppl's beef with the red torso. I mean, it is really reminding me of red engine blocks :
To me, Sideways is a must have ; I even like it better in these pics with the wheels transformed to the back of the heels.
I love how dynamic he looks with the wings up. That carries a very nice almost anime style look to it. I think I'll have to pose the guy similar to that on my shelf - my Movie TFs ended up on a high shelf over my bed so he'll be staring down at me (oo-er missus!)
He reminds me a bit of Swindle/Camshaft, but Hasbro have taken out all the fail and replaced it with awesome.
Im still counting on this guy being barricade...the similarities are just uncanny. I Just dont get it...
Those are some teeny tiny dainty feet...
The massive areas of unpainted plastic just RUIN these figures for me.
I mean seriously, look at all this detailed sculpt and ZERO paint apps. Not even a wash or highlight.
Plus...what's with the tiny little birdy feet? Who thought THAT was a good idea?
This entire line has just been disappointing for me so far, and I stand by my estimation that there is only one figure from TF2 I want to get -- Bludgeon nee Wreckage.
And that doesn't even really count because he's technically a TF1 mold.
I don't understand why they didn't make him Barricade so it could tie loose ends from the first movie, but hey, everything has a reason. (I hope!)
Vehicle mode = lovely.
Robot mode - Not at all keen at the moment. I'll have to see it in person, I think.
You actually make a pretty decent point there. I hadn't thought of it that way.
The car mode is excellent as usual, superb job of replicating the licensed vehicle. I do like the Insecticon vibe of the bot mode; but it does just seem very disproportionated, and the finish is sadly lacking as usual.
Very much looking forward to seeing the 3D model of this character tho, I think the general design is great.
Damn! you misstransformed him. His wings are supposed to be a little inside his hood, pushing up a little the triangle flipping panels.
Kickback... is that you?
