    I'm curious if anyone out there can answer a question about this figure for me.

    I'd like to know if it uses the newer "deep desert" mold where the shoulders actually stay pegged in.

    Yes, it uses those shoulder clips. I have the set because i bought it for 5 bucks. and it overall is NOT loose one bit. like a brand new mold really.

    Yeah I had been wondering this too, thanks for clarifying it. I badly want a Brawl figure and there's one of these left at my local toyshop in the bargain bin.

    Thank you for confirming this for me, all are dead.
    I really dug the Movie 1 version of this mold but the fact that his shoulders didn't peg in properly really turned me off. So when I discovered that the RotF Deep Desert repaint fixed the shoulders I was quite excited. Now I'm happy to buy a garish repaint of it.

    yup, nicely locks it...it looks like a bird shit on and all over him...but the joints are actually tighter than my desert colored brawl....
