I think I might have seen these before a few days ago. Also I cant help but feel that after seeing the combined mode in the film in full action the toy form just falls on its face. IMO a more RiD ultra Magnus take would of been the best way and more accurate
I keep wondering---if the Jetfire toy DIDN'T combine with Prime, how much less kibble there could be? They wouldn't have had to keep the engines as big huge "boosters" for Prime---could have actually had them transform into Jetfire's legs etc.
I think with different engineering, jetfire could have been great in both seperate and combined modes. But oh well, he's still gonna be mine.
peaugh's pics in the Feedback forum sold me on Jetfire. I may transform him once, maybe twice, but damn, his Blackbird alt mode is too sweet to pass up. Even my dad saw it and said, "neat". He's not into TFs but he is impressed by that alt mode- called it the best model kit you don't have to build. sold. sold. sold.
Eh, after seeing Jetfire in action in the actual movie... that toy just falls so flat on it's face. I think an RID Magnus take on the toy might have made it better in both modes really. Especially considering the way Jetfire and Prime actually "combine" in the movie.
