Looks cool, but looking at my Perfect Effect F&R, I think they are more accurate than Hasbro's upcoming release. Although I might pick this one up for grants & giggles. But all in all glad Hasbro is pushing themselves to release these G1 classics! Mad props Hasbro!

 

well looks like it official rumble is blue. like i always thought. i dunno whether to buy em or not. i have the perfect effect bots so dont know where these could fit in my collection

 

Erm... That's what he said. In the toon, Rumble was blue. But in everything else, i.e., the toy, the comic, etc., Rumble was red.

I didn't watch the cartoon much, but owned the toy and read the comic, so Rumble was always red to me.

Also, after seeing that comparison pic posted a while back, I'm feeling sorely tempted by the United versions. They look better and I really don't like the gold weapons.

 

Foolish noobs....why swallow this ribfir retcon? Thats like preferring shockwave the housekeeper.....

First of all, FIBRIR. Secondly, don't need these because I have the superior Perfect Effect Rumble and Frenzy.

Either way, I think I'll keep my preorder for the TT 2pack for now.

I find this very ironic coming from a guy who has for an avatar a FIBRIR comic series.

 

Can't wait to repaint him red.

 

It's times like this we need Cliffjumper around from Transformers Prime to say something like "Red, blue, it doesn't matter what color your candy ass is!"

Scout class is really good news because the odds of finding him might be a bit better since most retailers put out a pretty good scout selection.

 

This fandom gets so butt-hurt over the stupidest things. Does make for good laughs though.

 

I can see this being relatively difficult to get, and/or being scalped, then the other one being more difficult to get still.

And thats if you live in a market where they're released at retail.

I think i'm just going to give up and go United.
