Then tell em to check the site themselves, Im sure they have internet access, theres even some walmarts that you can search walmart.com in.

 

Seeing as some retailers didn't follow Hasbro's guidelines, I don't see how Hasbro could've handled this better.

I will hopefully see these by the end of this week. I have enough saved up to get at least 4 of them. Then I will go back June 2nd to get the Heavyweights.

As is the situation for all us Zellers (and walmart) shoppers in the GTA

 

But I don't think they're going to do it just cuz some random in the store approaches them and tries to tell/show them, they won't without official clearance from above if they've been holding on thus far.

 

And along these lines Zellers in Canada is going to be REALLY confused (i doubt they'll actually get this message), as they have put everything BUT the deluxe figures out so far!

 

Yes, probably a couple of weeks, maybe they'll have received and acted upon this message by...oh around June 2nd or so.

 

just got off the phone with the action figures guy at my local TRU, he said that they have all the movie toys ready to roll out back, but arent allowed to shelf them until June 2nd. he said he hasn't heard anything about the rules being changed, but that his manager (who was out on lunch) may have. he said that they would put the deluxes on the shelf as soon as they received the memo. (they had two boxes of deluxes, woot.)

i have enough saved up to buy 4 or so, until Friday. then i can go hog wild.

absolutely. it means that by friday, i will own all of the first wave of deluxes.

 

But that assumes that the manager has/does get the memo, and gets it quickly (don't get me wrong I do hope we get them asap).

Cool that Hasbro lifted the date on deluxes (probably a result of all the buzz AND the fact many couldn't seem to keep them in the back), but my store STILL NEEDS TO GET THEM IN PERIOD

Have you got any Fred Meyer or Kroger stores around you? They're all owned by the same folks, might be worth checking out.
I ran across them at the Marketplace in Holliday as well. Looks very cool, but I might wait on the Voyager instead.

 

the ONLY movie figs I saw were the Protoform figs a week ago at a Target. The Walmart close to me dont have the movie toys yet and that was on sat.

 

I dont plan on the figures arriving at all stores until on or after the Street date. Even if Hasbro has given the ok most retailers are going, "What The Fuck is the matter with you Hasbro??" This release-no release crap only equals less of a chance of me getting the figures =(. Oh well maybe I will get lucky.
