I wanted a deluxe-size Shockwave to go with the rest of my Transformers, so I decided to make my own out of a movie Payload. I removed his claw action feature (even though it was kinda neat) because I didn't like all that back kibble. His left hand got replaced with a GI Joe machine pistol, once I ground down the stock to a ball. It's a little small but at least he can still transform.
I know his alt mode isn't quite G1, but I figured in my Transformers-verse he's a ground-unit commander for the Decepticons, plus he's able to hold a lot of energon cargo.

That makes a good Shockwave. Looks good. I think I might have to borrow this idea to improve my Payload. What did you put in the stomach region to cover the hole? I haven't even looked at Payload in a while so it may even be a part of the fig, but input would be cool.

That is a sick use for a underused mold, mate. Love the colour scheme and how you got him to fit in scale with Meg's.

Cool! I like the design and it fits. It looks like it could fit into the movies. It might actually make them better. Well, that and an act of god! But I like it. Good job!

It's part of the oriignal Payload. I just clipped off the long pole
part and hot-glued the front to fill in the gaps in his abs.

    Thanks for looking!

Anyone thought of taking the long pole on this mode and putting a joint into it so it can bend straight up the robot back? Maybe top it with a sensor array or something which would end up on the front grille of the truck?
