Will definitely be watching this one with great detail. I got a 1/24 scale Tamiya "martini" 935 that I had planned on using on a re-shelled alternators Jazz, but may also consider doing this as well (you can never have enough Jazz . Please make frequent progress pics if possible. Great job thus far my man!
Thanks guys!! haha..I beat the cuts out of it....that is actually a pencil my wife bought me so while I am laying out my cuts or drawing, I can do some drumming...it's a habit.. I miss my drum set... I can't wait either... I will be doing a follow along tutorial on this guy when he is done... You gotta try it at least once to appreciate the work that goes into these things... Thank you! I updated the first post with some new shots....
Very nice indeed good sir! I admire you guys so much who can do these re-shells, I'm still too chicken to try my hand at one but I think I may be getting more brave by the day! I was thinkin of mebbe tryin this with my Jazz but I decided that i like him as he is & just gonna go with a home-made decals set instead.
You should somehow engineer it so he can have the options of displaying his door wings and folding them in for a toon accurate look.
funny you mention that...great minds think a like.. I have taken two hinges and cut them with a 45 degree angle( I will show pics once applied) so they fold out like wings, or, they can be concealed under the roof with just a little folding
Awesome...something Hasbro should've done to give fans a choice. I prefer the door wings look, though.
well, the best way to try it is to try it...you will more than likely mess something up(which I have done a bit of..lol) and hey, decals work.. yeah, but, they already gave us the speakers, which mine will not have... updated first post...
