next to none and i wouldn't buy it if they released it.

They've already come out with several movieverse primes and have no reason to make a deluxe.

And in my opinion, why would you want a deluxe sized movie prime?

I think that it would suffer from over-simplification, worse than ratchet or ironhide did.

    but that's just my thinking

i think ratches and ironhides delux versions were better than the voyager ones. i have always preferd the smaller transformers.

That's namely because those molds are old, while the smaller ones at least have two years on their bigger counterparts. Notice the difference between the leader Optimus Primes.

There's a slight chance that one around the size of a deluxe will be sold, depending on whether the trailer does anything or not. As a stand alone deluxe Optimus, probably not.

I can see one if there is a power master prime in the movie. he will be sold as a deluxe but when he combines he will be voyager size.

I would say the odds are very good.

For some reason Hasbro and the retailers seem to be moving away from larger figures. I don't know if it's because the price point is more attractive to buyers or the increased selection over larger scales but most retailers you visit it seem like deluxe and scout class figures move far quicker than the larger toys.

We've already seen other figures that were larger scale move down to the smaller deluxe size category so there are examples already that say just because you were a larger figure doesn't mean you will always be a larger figure.

Generations has already done a deluxe sized Prime and Megatron so there is an example that Hasbro doesn't think the two characters always have to be larger than the other figures from the same series.

I don't think I'd buy the figure just because I'm not crazy about the movie look or the characters. I purchased the deluxe sized War for Cybertron Prime and Megatron so I'm just not bothered by a character like Prime being a deluxe sized character. To be honest deluxe figures are more of an impulse buy it right now compared to thinking about if I should spend the money or not on larger figures.

I would buy one if it was good, but I kind of doubt they can design a deluxe Prime.

True, but lack of trailer and bad proportions (plus huge eyes) make it unbuyable. Maybe I'm just tired of Prime? :(

As mentioned a deluxe Prime may have been announced today. The figure is being desputed as either a FAB or a Deluxe.

I thought it was assumed to be a voyager. Some users have reported that they've seen a boxed image of the same figure.

The new figure is most definitely not voyager... unless Hasbro is batshit crazy. It has nothing in common with the BBOP, hell, it has nothing in common with the O7' Voy. Prime! It's definitely either in the range of an awesome FAB, or an iffy deluxe

Win situation for both. They move quicker, they're probably relatively profitable compared to leaders, and since they ship in assortments of usually at least four characters, it's easier to ship repaints/minor retools.

On top of which new DX case assortments come around every 4 -6 weeks.
