    . . . Would you want one?

For those of you who don''t know, Flatline was a character created by the IDW creative staff originally for Tales of the Fallen issue six. From what we've read, he's a Decepticon scientist who develops new troops from Autobot prisoners. He is the one who took Arcee's spark from her movie one body and put it into her Revenge of the Fallen body in hopes of creating a trio of Decepticon warriors. He also tried to tamper with the Twin's minds to, you guessed it, make them into more Decepticon troopers.

Here's a bit more information on Flatline's design process. Quoted from TFWiki.

So. Back to my question. Would you like to see a deluxe class Flatline in the Dark of the Moon line or some other movie based line that might happen in the future? I would. He has a cool design, and I would be happy if he was sold in a Cybertronian mold or a custom Earth mode.

    Please. Discuss.

I was running a TF RPG a couple years ago and Flatline was a character that one of my players came up with so I would be VERY excited to see an official version. My player's version though was a rescue helicopter and ambulance and had a robot mode that looked like a nurse. And it was female.

    of course.

But he should have a minion that turns into a coffin. Call it skeletron or something.

Fixed, since Scalpel/the Doctor technically is a Decepticon medic, and also had the worst Scout class of the ROTF line by far due to the ball joint sockets cracking too easily.

But a hearse Transformer would be awesome. It's probably a much better alt. mode for disguise than say; Crankcase's alt. mode.

I'm more surprised why didn't they even consider him for DOTM?

Maybe Prime will bring Flatline in but change him a pyschopathic interragator.

Definately, I love the movie-verse toys. And anything that Hasbro makes that meets movie quality, I will happily buy.

Seems like a pretty positive response so far. Maybe I should send the replies from this thread to Hasbro and than we can see what happens, eh? :p

That sounds really cool actually! Or maybe the coffin could turn into a weapon? Or, maybe he could have a Frenzy like partner called Skeletor that hides in the coffin in vehicle mode.

Yeah! He would've been an awesome leader for the Dreads, or a rival for Wheeljack or Ratchet.

    I completely agree.

I'd buy a Flatline in a heartbeat. I'm a sucker for nontraditional vehicle modes and I don't think anybody else has ever transformed into a Hearse.

    I don't want a deluxe Flatline.

I want a voyager hearse Flatline. With a repainted Legends class Arcee.
