since searching is off, i only checked the last few pages or so for this topic, but i want to know if you think we'll see the other 2 Dreads in deluxe form? I bought Legion Crowbar and will buy Hatchet as well, but i'd love to have all 3 as deluxes, with the same vehicle mode. Crowbar could be a very easy remold of Crankcase, but Hatchet would have to be an entirely new mold... so, do you think we'll see that?

I want Hatchet for sure. He was one of my favorites in the movie.

Crowbar I would probably just buy another Crankcase though if they never make another mold.

While I have Crankacase, I bought all three Cyberverse guys earlier. I would LOVE to get Crowbar and Hatchet as deluxe SUVs with unique bot modes.

I'd love to know exactly what new figures are slated for the rest of this year. Has there been a list released yet?

Well, crowbar might be an easy release, just remove the shoulder bits (or make them the tentacles that hung off his back!) and remold the head and bam! Hatchet would take more work, but I'd love to see a deluxe version of him too.

While I'd like to see it. I feel the confusion factor would work against sales, having them carded in SUV mode. Packaging them in bot mode would simplify things although they are very similar in color, looks etc.

On the other hand, as part of a subline promotion packaging them in SUV mode and not having headshot artwork or silhouetted artwork could be really cool. Show a pic of one altmode shot and all three Dreads on the cardback and play up the "mystery" or "which will you get" factor.

They'd probably sell loads of them. Especially if they shortpacked a particular character.

I know I'd buy a few "blind" just to test my luck!

Hasbro still has 6 months (or more depending if the line carries into the spring) to fill, I'm CERTAIN we'll get one or two more.

Crowbar almost seems like a nobrainer....perhaps packaged in robot mode to differentiate it from Crankcase.

    I'd jump at both TBH.

meh, i could care less as long as they have an exploding blood pack inside their torso as a gimmick, then I'd be happy.

    Ebay:
I've bought three crankcases, so time to return them now as I can forsee hasbro doing the rest of the dreads maybe as they each looked fairly different, if they did skids and mudflap and went to the bother of creating different molds from the same character I can't see them not making the dreads.

oh nice man, i dig that... I just think it'd be really cool to have all 3 done as the same vehicle... I'm still buying the small two until they announce more, but it definitely seems like a no brainer...

I prefer deluxe Crowbar as a police car like legion Crowbar.
For commander Hatchet, a mechtech equivalent would be a Voyager Hatchet / Jet.
I now prefer the 3 Dreads to have different vehicle modes just like in Cyberverse. In the toys, Hatchet is bigger than the other 2.
The movies used 3 suvs probably to save money on animation. In the movies, the 3 Dread robots actually looked quite similar probably to save money on animation also.

I would buy both a deluxe Crowbar and Hatchet, shit even if they just made a cyberverse commander hatchet I would be happy. Wasn't Crankcase bigger in the movie anyway?

but each bot was different, therefore it took 3 different animations. Two were similar, but Hatchet was most certainly not the same as all.

but there is a Cyberverse Commander Hatchet... his video review was just frontpaged...

I would like to see that. I'd like all 3 to have the same vehicles, but would like some major retooling on Crowbar, maybe a new leg transformation.

Hatchet would be interesting to have.

The thing I most want is for them to release a Voyager Crankcase down the road, and a deluxe based on Crowbar's legion (the E7 police car).

Although for both they'd have to rename the others. But I really want a larger version of Crankcase, so the SUV is near correct size. They did play a relatively large role, so I think It'd be nice if they got larger figures.
