I've been looking at my NYCC BB and looking at the remolded RID version.

Here are a few comparissions I've noticed so far:
Shoulder pads are completly different. Less deatail?
Bot forearms have lower car doors attached
And (as a result) door wings are smaller - look at the side windows! Smaller?
Back of robot head has a car hood panel
    (2) blasters with peg holes - to attch one on top of the other in car mode?

Oh, looks like black car window frames?

    If Hasbro sticks to it...

Honestly, the second version looks worse to me. That's why I picked up first edition. It just seems to look better. The only two main issues I have with first edition is that the chest is a little too squarish compared to the animation model, and the feet are big and chunky and they didn't find a way to put the wheels in the heels. And this new version doesn't fix that, and seems to get other things wrong.

P.S. That picture you have of first edition bumblebee is terribly mistransformed.

The wheels aren't integrated into the shoulders like on the first version and in the animation model. Bit of a shame.

I thought the new one looks more show accurate in robot mode, but the front part of the car mode looks weird

Thing is, for all we know that picture of the second version of Bumblebee is terribly mistransformed too. For example we can tell that those wheels aren't going to flip into the heels and that the shoulders look somewhat more simplistic, but the chest probably compacts more, the flap behind the head may flip away, and if we're lucky his wings can move into the center of his back.

I'm getting both molds because I have a hard-on for TF: P toys.

I don't like the hinge-neck on the second edition. I'll probably spring for the first one unless the second one has much more accurate coloring.

I saw that the first wave bb was mistransformed in the pic so that dose lead to the potential question if the new figure is properly transformed so heres hoping will see more pics.

I now see some differences. I'll probably get both versions but I might have to see reviews on the second version first.

Oh yea, I totally see the car front sides (with wheels attached) on a combo hinge with the car doors! Basically the car front wheels will be behind the upper shoulders!

Kinda like DOTM BB / HA BB. With the wheels on fold out plates...

This time the arms are attached to those plates...

The legs and feet do look unchanged from the FE / NYCC version...

    Version two looks kinda dumpy.

I'm thinking grabbing the first editions is going to be the way to go for all characters.

I actually like the looks of the second one more. His body looks better proportioned to me. Plus, the head sculpt looks a little nicer.

Hm...I'm still stuck on which I'll get. Most say 1st edition looks better, but I would also want the 2 blasters...

Wait, am I getting the pics mixed up? Is the 1st edition the first picture, the one showing both modes?

EDIT: OK, so the 2nd pic is the first edition, right? (I'm judging from the TRU preorder page)

The second pic is first edition, yes. Also, one more thing i noticed about the new version is that the black line along the side of the alt mode lines up much better. In the first edition mold, the line has a discontinuity where the door meets the front of the vehicle.

To me the first edition is much better looking as a whole.
