    i just got deluxe ironhide and was wandering why his canon opens. was there gong to be something that went in it or something?

    It's to help store his drone in vehicle mode.

    just found that out, why dosent hasbro show everything in there instructions. like how ratchets bumper can pull down.

    Are you talking about the non removable cannon? I know it splits...

    I did not know that. I have it on my desk and just looked at it. There's a screw. If you unscrew it, the canon pops out. Makes it easy for my to paint now. :) 


    As for the drone, I'd rather have another canon.

    ya i wish the drone looked like the movie gun than hed look perfect. i find that the the deluxe versions of Ironhide and Ratchet look better than there voyager counterparts.

    Ironhide's cannon storage is shown in the instructions. Just in a slightly backwards way, because they're drawn as if the drone is already stowed in the vehicle cab. They tell you to remove the drone, and close the right cannon, but it's a really easy step to miss unless you're paying super close attention.

    My leader SS came with paper strings as oppose to the twisty metally ties. Also my MP Grimlock came with paper strings as well. Easier to cut IMO.
