I just got the delux brawl ( i know, way late) ... does anyone else have a problem with snapping the arms in during robot mode? Doesn't seem to want to stay in... is it the entire toy line or maybe just a defect of my own?

Almost everyone does. Look in the feedback / review thread for details.

It is a well known problem with that toy. It is what pushed me to wait for the big one - darn glad I did too, the bigger one is a truly awesome Transformer.

I'll chime in here and say that the arms will stay in place if you man handle them. I have seen where individuals have applied fingernail polish to make the connection more solid. I have had problems with his arms staying in place like everyone else. The last time I put him in bot mode I got aggressive with him and they stayed put. Even with all the posing. I suggest just force fit it and it will be fine and stay in place.

Yeah the shoulders on mine stay put well enough as long as I push them in super hard.

Another way of dealing with it is to push the pieces on the turret that you have to move to get the arms our back down over the balljoints after you've put the arms in the right place. That holds mine in place perfectly.
Something that is a much more annoying problem is the use of clear plastic for the automorph gears. Dumbest idea ever, because they break REALLY easily.
